構成されている。(Prior art) The air outlet from the indoor heat exchanger has a normal operating angle range that is set within the entire range of mechanically movable angles, depending on the cooling or heating operation. FIG. 7 shows an indoor unit of an air conditioner equipped with a louver that is automatically adjusted to a suitable opening angle. This indoor unit 20
is cooled (during cooling operation) or heated (during heating operation) by the indoor heat exchanger 21.
An indoor fan 22 is provided for blowing air indoors. A louver 23 is arranged at the air outlet for adjusting the effective opening degree and air blowing direction of the air outlet. Mechanically, the louver 23 is in the fully closed angle position A.
Is it configured so that it can be rotated manually within a wider angular range θa from a to a nearly vertical fully open angular position Ab? It is configured so that it can be rotated to an opening angular position that is preprogrammed within a narrower and limited normal operating angle range θb from the reference opening angular position Ac to the fully open angular position Ab.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 8, the user may intentionally move the louver 23 to an angular position Ad that exceeds the angular position Ac corresponding to the normal operating angle range θb. If the louver 23 is forcibly moved in the direction of narrowing the blow-off opening by manual operation in this way, the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger 21 will drop abnormally during cooling operation, and the suction pressure will drop abnormally. Freezing and condensation may occur in the equipment, and in the case of heating operation, the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger 21 may rise abnormally, causing the discharge pressure to rise abnormally and causing the compressor to break down due to the heavy load. . A situation where the compressor breaks down means that the entire air conditioner stops operating, which causes a decrease in the reliability of the entire device.

Further, the set temperature Ti of the abnormality judgment temperature setter 2, which is set according to the switching contents of the heating/cooling switch 6, is also guided to the comparator 11, and the temperature Tc and temperature Ti
Compare Tc≦Ti (during cooling operation) or Tc
When ≧Ti (during heating operation), an abnormality signal Q is sent to the louver drive circuit 9. When the louver drive circuit 9 receives the abnormal color code Q, it controls the motor 27 so that the louver 23 is within the normal operating angle range θb. The set temperature Ti for abnormality determination is T i =Tmr+= 1° during cooling operation.
C, and during heating operation, T i =Tmx= approximately 50°C.
