[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to a waste disposal device for a vehicle toilet, and in particular to an improvement of its outer cylinder.The paper outer cylinder accommodates a furnace cloth, a saucer, and an activated carbon layer from above, and has an opening on the top surface. The upper lid is attached with a lower lid with an opening that can be opened and closed at the bottom, and a plurality of fold lines are formed along the axial direction as an outer cylinder, and
The gist is to use a product that has been waterproofed over the inner and outer peripheries of the bottom including the end faces of the bottom.

Conventionally, it was the first filth treatment device for vehicle toilets.
The ones shown in Figures a and b are used. 1
is a cylindrical outer cylinder made of paper such as cardboard, and a furnace cloth 2 is attached to the upper inner circumference of the outer cylinder 1 and the bottom surface surrounded by the inner circumference. A saucer 3 is located below the oven cloth 2, and the bottom circumference of the oven cloth 2 is in contact with the upper circumference of the saucer 3. An opening 31 is formed in a predetermined portion of the bottom surface of the saucer 3. saucer 3
A dish-shaped activated carbon storage tray 4 is placed under the activated carbon storage tray 4, and activated carbon 42 is placed on the activated carbon storage tray 4 to form an activated carbon layer. An opening 41 is also formed at a predetermined position on the bottom surface of the activated carbon storage tray 4. A mesh 43 with a predetermined mesh size is attached to the opening 41 to prevent the activated carbon 42 from flowing out into the saucer 5 below. A saucer 5 having an opening 51 is arranged below the activated carbon storage tray 4. 7 is a lower lid provided to close the bottom surface of the outer cylinder 1, and the lower lid 7 also has an opening 72 at a predetermined position.
The opening 72 is opened and closed by vertical displacement of the opening/closing piece 71. Reference numeral 6 denotes an upper lid attached to close the upper surface of the outer cylinder 1, and the upper lid 6
An opening 61 is also formed therein. The opening 61 is configured so that when the waste disposal device is installed in a predetermined position of the vehicle toilet, it connects with the waste discharge port of the vehicle toilet.

In such a configuration, the waste from the vehicle toilet is discharged into the furnace cloth 2 through the opening 61 by the drainage water, the solids among the waste are stored in the furnace cloth 2, and the fluids are stored in the opening of the receiving tray 3. 31, through the opening 41 of the activated carbon storage tray 4, and the opening 51 of the tray 5, pass through the tray 5, or the activated carbon storage tray 4, and the opening of the lower lid 7 that is open when attached.
It is stored in a predetermined storage tank below. When a train stops at a station, for example, the fluid in the storage tank that has been treated by each part of the device is discharged from the train by automatically opening the storage tank opening in a known manner. After being used in this way for about a week, the entire outer cylinder 1 in which the solids are stored is removed, carried to a predetermined location and incinerated, and a new outer cylinder is installed. However, conventional waste treatment equipment of this type has only one
It can be replaced in a short period of time, about a week, and each time it is replaced, a considerable number of units, each consisting of an outer cylinder, furnace cloth, two saucers, and an activated carbon layer, must be transported to the site and assembled and installed. Since the tube is bulky, its transportation efficiency is extremely low.Also, since the outer tube 1 is made of cardboard, the lower part where the saucer, activated carbon layer, etc. are housed is easily deteriorated and damaged by fluids. This could lead to serious public health accidents.

The outer cylinder 11 according to the present invention has a plurality of fold lines 12 parallel to the axis as shown in FIG. 2a. The folding line 12 can be formed, for example, by creating a concave folding line on the outer periphery and a convex folding line on the opposite inner periphery.

It is preferable that a plurality of folding lines 12 are formed symmetrically in pairs at positions extending 180 degrees from each other on the outer cylinder 11. By doing this, during transportation, the outer tube 11 can be folded into a compact shape like two pieces of cardboard stacked on top of each other, using the folding lines 12 that are 180 degrees apart from each other, as shown in Figure 2b. Since the outer cylinder 11, which is the bulkiest part, can be transported in an extremely compact form when transporting parts for replacement of the filth treatment device, it is possible to transport the outer cylinder 11 in an extremely compact form compared to conventional methods. The transportation efficiency is significantly improved compared to the previous model. or,
The outer cylinder 11 of the present invention has a bottom portion including a bottom end surface 13;
Waterproofing 14 is applied to the outer periphery. For waterproofing, we use resin coating to form a waterproof film, etc.
Known methods can be used. The extent to which waterproofing is applied to the inside and outside of the bottom is determined depending on the needs of the specific case, but the inner and outer peripheries facing the parts where the saucer, activated carbon layer, etc. are placed should always be exposed to erosion by flowing objects. Therefore, it is necessary to apply waterproofing to at least the inner and outer circumferential surfaces.

According to the present invention, the efficiency of transporting the outer cylinder when replacing the waste disposal device is greatly improved, and damage to the lower part of the outer cylinder due to fluids can be prevented as much as possible.
Most of the problems that exist in this type of filth treatment device can be solved.
