Claims (1)
- 一対の排気管の管路途中を箱体で囲み、一方の
排気管の管路途中の箱体内の部分に、多数の小孔
からなると共に箱体が拡張室として作用する程度
の大きさの総開口面積を有する小孔群を穿設し、
他方の排気管の管路途中に、箱体内に開口する首
管を配設し、一方の排気管の両端をそれぞれ他方
の排気管に接合して各排気管の管路を連通させて
なる消音器において、一方の排気管の管路の小孔
群の両側部分に、エンジンの運転状態に応じて作
動する一対の制御弁を装着し、エンジンの低回転
時には、両制御弁を閉じるとともに、エンジンの
中高回転時には、両制御弁を開くように構成した
ことを特徴とする可変型消音器。
