Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ ハウジングに回転可能に貫通配置された軸の
上記ハウジングの外に位置する部分の外周に配置
された固定環と、上記ハウジングの外に位置する
軸の外周にあつて上記固定環に当接配置された回
転環と、上記ハウジングの外に位置する軸の外周
に配置され上記固定環及び回転環相互を圧接する
スプリングと、上記ハウジングと固定環の双方に
密接し上記スプリングを外側から包囲するように
配置されたダイアフラムとを具備したメカニカル
シールにおいて、上記ハウジングと固定環の間に
、上記ダイアフラムの外側を包囲する保護カバを
設けたことを特徴とするメカニカルシール。 ２ 請求項１記載のメカニカルシールにおいて、
上記保護カバには流体回収部へ連なるドレン穴が
形成されていることを特徴とするメカニカルシー
ル。 ３ 請求項１記載のメカニカルシールにおいて、
保護カバはその外周端部をハウジングに固定され
るとともに、その内周端は適当な隙間を介して上
記固定環の外周面と対向し、上記隙間はパツキン
グで密封されていることを特徴とするメカニカル
シール。
