  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 担持体上に現像剤を供給し、規制部材により該
    担持体上に現像剤の薄層を形成すると共に電荷を
    与え、これを静電潜像を保持する保持体に送り、
    該静電潜像に現像剤を付着せしめて現像する現像
    装置において、 該担持体の回転方向において、該担持体と該規
    制部材との接触部の下流側近傍位置と該担持体の
    回転中心軸との間の範囲に対応する装置の側板に
    、その先端部が該担持体の側面に達するブラシを
    設けたことを特徴とする現像装置。
