The upper part of the support 8.9.10 has a tip 15 provided with a substantially V-shaped cut part 14 with an open top, as shown in FIG. When placed on the V-shaped cut portion 14 of the body, the copper wire is maintained horizontally and is held so as not to shift laterally. The outer two supports 8.10 of the three supports 8.9.10 have a spacing between their outer sides that is approximately equal to the spacing between the necks of the ring-like or hook-like parts 6 of the copper wire. as a result of which longitudinal movement of the copper wire is also prevented when it is placed on these supports. Although the intermediate support 10 is not essential, it is advantageous to have one or five or more intermediate supports 10 to prevent misalignment. The support band is placed so that when the copper wire is actually placed on the support, the copper wire rotates and the ring-shaped part or hook-shaped part of the copper wire does not rotate and become vertical. A horizontal plate 16 or horizontal line is provided on which a ring-shaped or hook-shaped part of the copper wire is horizontally placed.

After each copper wire 5 is placed on such a support, an adhesive coating device as shown in FIG. 7 is used to apply adhesive to the upper surface of the copper wire 5. This uses a plunger to intermittently feed the connecting agent from the adhesive reservoir to the tip of the nozzle 20 through an adjustable throttle.
Since the brush 21 is provided around the tip of the nozzle 20, the brush 21 will be wetted with the adhesive. This adhesive-wetted brush 21 is then lowered by a cylinder 23 and, after contacting the copper wire 5, is moved longitudinally by a cylinder 22 to apply the adhesive onto the copper wire 5.

In order to ensure complete application, the brush 21 should be allowed to stroke the copper wire 5 on the return trip as well. After the coating operation is completed, the brush 21 is pulled upward by the cylinder 23. In actual work, in order to perform this application work efficiently, multiple rows of the flat plate 7 on which the copper wires 5 are placed are treated as one work unit, and an application brush 21 connected to the adhesive supply plunger is used.
is a number corresponding to the number of multiple rows of this support frame, or in some cases an integral multiple thereof depending on the number of copper wires placed in each row, at intervals, for example, on a slider that can be moved up and down and left and right. It is efficient to prepare adhesive application brush assemblies and process a large number of them at the same time.

In this case, the flat plate 7 has multiple rows as shown in FIG.
They are arranged in the form of an endless strip and moved endlessly using a suitable drive device. For example, the endless strip is stopped by a microswitch every time a plurality of rows are moved, and the endless strip is processed by an adhesive application brush assembly. In this case, the adhesive application brush assembly is simply pressed against the copper wire during operation, and the adhesive is applied to the copper wire by moving the support frame in the longitudinal direction. It may also be configured such that it is applied.

The flat plate 7 on which the copper wire coated with adhesive is placed is then dried to remove the solvent in a drying device 24. After this, the support frame advances to the next working area, where the foamed synthetic resin with a rectangular cross section is
The side plates 12 and 13 on the support base 8 are used as lateral position regulating gauges and are inserted by a roller device, thereby completing the adhesion between the copper wire and the foamed synthetic resin having a rectangular cross section. It is pulled out from between the side plates 12 and 13. In this bonding operation, the elongated member of the foamed synthetic resin may be supported upward, for example, and the two members may be bonded together by pressing against a support frame on which the copper wire coated with adhesive is placed.

As explained above, according to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a hair curler in which a shape-retaining plastic deformable member provided with ring-shaped parts or hook-shaped parts at both ends is firmly embedded in a foamed synthetic resin. , it is advantageous in terms of manufacturing costs as it requires fewer parts compared to conventional products, and the appearance is completely covered with foamed synthetic resin, so even when this hair curler is soaked in cold perm solution, it can be easily removed from the gaps. There is no waste caused by excess liquid dripping. In addition, the ring-shaped parts or hook-shaped parts arranged at both ends of the shape-retaining plastic deformable member, which is the core material, increase the stability of placement on the support frame during the bonding process during manufacturing. It significantly improves the adhesion between the copper wire and the foamed synthetic resin, and even if the foamed synthetic resin inner lining breaks during use due to rough handling,
It is very advantageous because it does not damage the scalp etc. due to its structure.
