Claims (1)
- 回転軸側に固定された回転環と、この回転環に
非接触状態で対面させてハウジング側に配置され
た静止環と、この静止環を前記回転環側の軸方向
に向け移動可能に付勢しかつ前記回転環と静止環
との間の密封端面を圧力変動に応じて押圧制御す
るスプリングとを備え、前記回転環の密封端面の
円周方向に沿つて流体動圧効果により浮力を発生
させる複数個の溝を加工するとともに、これら各
々の溝を、前記回転軸の回転方向に沿つて深さが
減少するテーパ状に形成したことを特徴とする非
接触型メカニカルシール。
