【考案の詳細な説明】 (イ) 産業上の利用分野 この考案は逆流防止機構を有する水抜栓に関す
るものである。

(ロ) 従来の技術 北海道等の寒冷地においては、水道管は凍結深
度以下の地中に埋設されている。地上の温度が如
何に低下しても、凍結深度以下の地中では水は凍
結しないからである。しかし水道管に連結した分
岐管は各戸に導かれており、水道水を一定時間使
用しないで放置していると、各戸の分岐管内の水
が凍結することがある。そこで昼間長時間外出す
る時や就寝時に分岐間内の水を地中に放出する必
要が生じ水抜栓が考案された。水抜栓1は第1図
に示すごとく、水道管2に取付ける水道管取付部
3と分岐管取付部4、排水部5を有し、分岐管6
は一端は分岐管取付部4に接続し、他端は蛇口7
に続している。通常は蛇口7を開閉して水道水を
使用するが、就寝時には水抜栓のハンドル8を操
作して分岐管6内の水を排水部5から地中に放出
する。蛇口7にホース9を継いで、これを電気洗
濯機または洗面器10に直結して給水している時
に、水道本管の工事等で急に断水すると、本管に
負圧が生じ、洗濯機や洗面器内の汚水がホース
9、蛇口7、分岐管6を経て水道管2に逆流する
ことがある。また共同住宅等では元栓となる水抜
栓のほかに各室においてそれぞれ水抜栓を設ける
場合が増加しているが、上記の逆流を生ずると共
同住宅にわたり汚水が送られる恐れがあり、この
ため逆流を防止する水抜栓が種々考案されてい
る。

この考案は上記のような欠点を除いて、逆流防止
弁は装着せず、弁駒が流入(一次)側に負圧が発
生した時にのみ移動し、逆流を防止することを目
的とする。

取付部4を経て分岐管6に導かれ、排水部5への
流出はない。夜間就寝時に止水するときは、ハン
ドル8を操作してピストン15、ロツト16、弁
駒17の位置を上に上げると第3図に示す状態と
なる。水道管2からの水は閉止され、分岐管6内
の水は分岐管取付部4を経て排水部5から凍結深
度以下の地中に放出される。なお、30はスプリ
ングピン31は遊転軸である。以上は公知品の説
明である。本考案の新規な点は以下の通りであ
る。23はスプリング、24はC形止メ輪であ
る。
