A recess into which a rectangular printed wiring board having a plurality of light emitting diodes arranged almost densely can be fitted is formed on the surface, and the recess is penetrated from the front side to allow the light emitting diodes arranged on the surface of the printed wiring board to be inserted into the recess at the bottom. A rectangular plate-shaped reflective frame made of a flexible thermoplastic resin is provided with a reflective wall surface that surrounds each and expands outward from the front surface side, and illuminates the illumination surface formed on the front side of the lamp cover frame. In the light emitting diode unit, each of the reflective wall surfaces is formed in the shape of an inverted truncated pyramid, and the printed wiring board is press-fitted inside each of at least one pair of opposing sides of the rectangular recess into which the printed wiring board is inserted. A light emitting diode unit for an indicator light, characterized in that a deformable protrusion is formed into the unit.
