挿入部の先端に開口形成された噴出口と内視鏡の
外部に設けられた送気送水手段との間を上記送気
送水管路で連通接続すると共に、シリンダ内に操
作弁体を進退自在に嵌挿してなる切換弁装置を上
記送気送水管路の途中に介装して、上記噴出口か
ら空気が噴出する送気状態と、上記噴出口から水
が噴出する送水状態と、上記切換弁装置から大気
に直接空気がリークされる待機状態とを、上記切
換弁装置の操作によつて切換えることができるよ
うにした内視鏡の送気送水操作装置において、 上記シリンダから上記噴出口に空気を送り出す
ようにシリンダに形成された送気口に対向する位
置で、上記操作弁体を軸方向に分割形成すると共
に、上記送気口を挾んでその両側の上記操作弁体
の外周部と上記分割面とに各々シール手段を設け
て、待機状態においては上記分割面が上記シール
手段によつて閉塞され、送気状態にしたときには
、上記操作弁体の分割部が開かれて、その隙間を
通つて、上記シリンダ内から上記送気口に空気が
送り出されるようにしたことを特徴とする内視鏡
