を示す図である。 １……ダイクロイツクプリズム、５……光源、
１２〜１４……液晶表示パネル。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ダイクロイツクプリズムの近傍に複数の液晶表
    示パネルを配置し、この液晶表示パネルに表示さ
    れた各画像を前記ダイクロイツクプリズムで合成
    して投影する多板式液晶プロジエクタ装置におい
    て、 前記複数の液晶表示パネルのうち、前記ダイク
    ロイツクプリズムを透過する画像を表示する液晶
    表示パネルの出射側の偏光板の透過軸を前記ダイ
    クロイツクプリズムのダイクロイツク面に対して
    Ｐ偏光の向きに設け、前記ダイクロイツクプリズ
    ムで反射される画像を表示する液晶表示パネルの
    出射側の偏光板の透過軸を前記ダイクロイツクプ
    リズムのダイクロイツク面に対してＳ偏光の向き
    に設けたことを特徴とする多板式液晶プロジエク
    タ装置。
