に構成した用紙搬送手段とを設け、用紙が重送さ

停止せしめて紙詰まり状態とし、用紙搬送路上に
設けられた紙詰まり検知手段により、該紙詰まり
を検知するようにした用紙の重送検知装置におい
て、 前記ゲージ部材のベースプレートに対する間〓
を変更するよう該ゲージ部材を移動せしめる手段
を設け、前記用紙搬送手段の上流に用紙厚検出セ
ンサを設け、使用する用紙の種類に応じて、前記
ゲージ部材の移動量、及び前記用紙搬送手段の用
