(Prior Art) During the manufacturing process of coated arc welding rods, there is a process of painting flux around the core wire. Multiple frameworks with flux-coated welding rods placed side by side are stacked on top of each other and placed on a trolley and sent to a drying oven. After drying, the welding rods are placed on a trolley in the stacked framework and pulled out to the drying oven outlet, and then all of the welding rods are pulled out in the framework on the trolley and sequentially transferred to a conveyor heading to a collection hopper. Ru. Conventional methods for this transfer include: - A method for extracting the welding rod from each frame by input; A method for attracting and rotating the welding rod with a magnetic roller to pull out the welding rod from the frame; A method for tilting the frame and allowing the welding rod to fall freely. There is also a method in which the frame carrying the stacked welding rods is moved onto the accumulation hopper conveyor and transferred one frame at a time. Also, there is a device that uses an electromagnet to attract, transfer, and deposit multiple welding rods from above the frame. However, with this device, there is no problem in removing the welding rod on the top frame, but when taking out the welding rod on the next frame, the upper frame becomes an obstacle and cannot be transferred. Therefore, it took many man-hours to remove the upper frame, which could not be said to be efficient. In the above-mentioned work, the balance between the welding rod manufacturing processes could not be maintained, creating a bottleneck in the process, and there were problems in terms of occupational safety and health, such as dust disposal caused by friction between the welding rods and back pain due to working posture. This has led to a strong desire for improvement.

The welding rods are aligned on the framework stacked on the trolley, and the framework is raised and lowered to the height of the electromagnet.
The end face of the welding rod is attracted to the electromagnet while it is magnetized by passing an electric current through it, and by moving the electromagnet horizontally in the length direction of the welding rod, the welding rod is moved to the conveyor position, and at that position. The current of the electromagnet is cut off, the welding rod is demagnetized, and the welding rod is dropped onto the conveyor. Timing and speed of movement of the framework to the lifting position,
Welding rods are efficiently and automatically transferred by sequentially controlling the moving distance, the time and amount of current applied to the electromagnet, and the moving timing, speed, and moving distance of the moving electromagnet device.

When the end face of the welding rod is attracted to the electromagnet, the welding rod cannot be avoided to be slightly longer or shorter within the range specified by JIS due to processing deviations. A device that has an elastic contact plate such as a rubber plate that adapts to changes in length and moves and presses the rod end by a required amount brings the welding rod into contact with the electromagnet attraction surface to prevent the welding rod from being attracted to the electromagnet and leaking. improve efficiency.

In addition, if there is residual magnetism in the welding rod on the conveyor, it will have a negative effect on the welding work using that welding rod and on the weld metal, so it is necessary to demagnetize the residual magnetism in the welding rod that has been previously attracted by an electromagnet. Equipment included. The welding rod demagnetizing device can be installed near the welding rod on the conveyor, or it can be installed inside or outside the electromagnetic device.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 1 shows a plan view, FIG. As shown in Figure B, the welding rod carrier 1 sent from the drying oven has the following:
Frames in which welding rods 3 are arranged are loaded on frames 2 that are stacked one after another. The truck is constructed by pressurizing oil into the lower part of the hydraulic cylinder 4 from the inlet 4', thereby aligning devices 5, 12, 13 and moving electromagnet devices 7, 8.
It will rise to the appropriate position where it can operate and stop. The number of stages of the frame to be pulled out can be set as desired, from one frame to multiple stages, depending on the structure of the framework and the size of the welding rod.
A limit switch consisting of a solenoid valve (not shown) and a phototube switch 24 is provided to adjust the supply of pressure oil to the hydraulic cylinder 4 to the required height, and the dimensional tolerance during elevation is controlled within ±5 mm.

As shown in Figure A, the electromagnet 7 is magnetized by receiving a controlled magnetizing current at a position close to the end surface 16 of the welding rod 3, and attracts the end surface 16 of the welding rod 3. At the same time, the non-magnetic stainless steel plate 12 with a surface abutting the elastic member 19 is swung back and forth by a distance controlled by the air cylinder 13 serving as a power source and the rod end aligning arm 5, so that the welding rod 3 described above is exposed. The welding rod is moved by an amount corresponding to the length of the welding rod 3 so that the coated end surface 17 opposite to the core wire end surface 16 is pushed and reliably pressed against the electromagnet adsorption surface 18. Elastic material 19 attached to the front of stainless steel plate 12 For example, rubber material has elasticity, so the error in rod length within JIS standards is ±2 mm.
Even if this occurs, there will be no problem with adsorption. Further, the suction part of the welding rod is not limited to the above description, as the required work can be performed using either the coated end surface or the bare wire end described above.

The electromagnet 7 is held by a mounting support 8, and the mounting support 8 is connected to a forward end limit switch 2 to ensure safety by feeding two ball screws 9 1 and 9 2 .
5. The maximum feed amount is limited by the reverse end limit switch 26, and the rod length of the welding rod 3 is 250 to 900 mm.
DC motor 1 is adjusted according to the distance range from the frame position of the welding rod end to the conveyor position according to changes in
4, it is electrically reciprocated. The rotation of the DC motor 14 simultaneously rotates the ball screws 9 1 and 9 2 via bevel gears 15 1 and 15 2 . The rotation of the DC motor 14 is controlled by the number of pulses by an electric motor 10 serving as a driving source and an NC controller 11 to be described later.

When the adsorption of the welding rod 3 by the electromagnet 7 is completed,
The electromagnet 7 and the mounting support 8 begin to move backward due to the rotation of the ball screw 9, and the welding rod 3 is pulled out from the frame 2 in the rod length direction. In this case, the adsorption force in the electromagnet 7 is adjusted in accordance with changes in the rod length of the welding rod from 250 to 900 mm and core wire diameter of 2.0 to 9.0 mm, and moreover, the attraction force in the electromagnet 7 is adjusted according to the change in the rod length of the welding rod from 250 to 900 mm and the core wire diameter from 2.0 to 9.0 mm. It has enough suction power to withstand it. In this way, the welding rod 3 can be easily taken out with the frames 2 stacked together.

Further, the electromagnet 7 has a function of demagnetizing the welding rod 3 by applying a demagnetizing alternating current to the coil before the welding rod is dropped. By demagnetizing the welding rod 3, the residual magnetism of the welding rod 3 can be reduced to 60 Gauss or less, and problems such as mutual attraction due to magnetism on the conveyor can be prevented.
