Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of siphon phenomenon and to prevent lowering of the efficiency of bubble operation even when continuous switching of dirt removing operation and bubble operation is effected by a method wherein a part of a piping for air through which an air intake and a dirt removing collecting cylinder are intercoupled is extended through a position above the upper edge surface of a bath tub and arranged as a handrail positioned in a level higher than that of the upper edge surface of the bath tub. CONSTITUTION:With the aid of a pump 2 for circulation, bath water 10 in a bath tub 6 is fed in a jet nozzle 3 located to the side wall of the bath tub. Air through a float type dirt removing collecting cylinder 5 for removing dirt mounted in the bath tub 6 and air through an air intake 1 branched from a piping 8 for air running between the jet nozzle 3 and the dirt removing collecting cylinder 5 and capable of opening and closing an air flow passage are drawn in through an ejector effect in the jet nozzle 3, and are injected in the bath tub 6. A part of the piping 8 for air through which the air intake 1 and the dirt removing and collecting cylinder 5 are intercoupled is extended through a position above the upper edge surface of the bath tub and arranged as a handrail 11 positioned in a level higher than that of the upper edge surface of the bath tub. This constitution, even when operation is switched to bubble operation, forms an air reservoir at the upper part of the piping 8 for air, protruded from the upper edge surface of the bath tub 6, by means of air sucked by dirt removing operation, and prevents the occurrence of siphon phenomenon.

The bath water 10 of the bathtub 6 is circulated by the pump 2 through the circulating water suction port 9.
It is sucked in from the jet nozzle 3. The jet nozzle 3 having a vacuum pump structure causes an ejector effect by the bath water 10 sent in, and the nozzle 3
Air is sucked in through an air pipe 8 connected to the bathtub 6, mixed with the bath water 10, and ejected into the bathtub 6. Air piping 8
There are two air intakes: the air intake 1 and the dirt collection tube 5. The air intake 1 can be opened and closed, and when it is closed, the collection tube 5 is the only air intake port, so the bath water 10 begins to be sucked vigorously from the inner pipe 5b, and as the flow speed increases, it loosely fits into the inner pipe 5a. The outer pipe 5a floats up to the surface of the bath water 10, sucks in air and dirt floating on the water surface, the dirt is filtered by a filter 4, and clean air and bath water 10 enter the shared nozzle 3. Furthermore, when the air intake 1 is opened, almost nothing is sucked in from the dirt collection tube 5 having a large flow path resistance, air is sucked in from the air intake 1, and bubble operation is performed in which air bubbles are ejected from the jet nozzle 3.

In the above conventional example, when the water level of the bath water 10 is equal to or higher than that of the air pipe 8, the air intake 1 is closed and the plate operation is performed, and the air intake 1 is
When it is opened and switched to bubble operation, the air pipe 8 up to the air intake 1 is filled with the bath water 10 from the collection tube 5, causing a siphon phenomenon, and the jet nozzle 3 is filled with not only air but also bath water 10. Since a large amount of bubbles flows in, the amount of bubbles ejected from the jet nozzle 3 into the bathtub 6 is significantly reduced. The present invention aims to solve this problem.

The bubble-generating bathtub of the present invention is as shown in one embodiment in FIG. The ejector effect in the nozzle 3 branches into a float-type dust collection cylinder 5 installed in the bathtub G to remove dust, or into an air pipe 8 between the jet nozzle 3 and the dust collection cylinder 5. In a bubble-generating bathtub in which air is taken in from an air intake 1 that can open and close a provided air flow path and is ejected into the bathtub 6, an air supply connecting the air intake 1 and the dirt collecting cylinder 5 is used. A part of the piping 8 passes through the upper edge of the bathtub and is placed higher than that as a handrail 11, and the basic operation is the same as that of the conventional system.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, a part of the air pipe 8 is not directly used as a handrail 11, but is covered with a handrail cover 12.

Therefore, even when switching from operation to bubble operation, the bathtub 6
An air pocket is formed in the upper part of the air pipe 8 which protrudes above the upper edge surface of the air pipe 8 due to the air sucked in by the boarding operation, and the siphon phenomenon does not occur.

As mentioned above, in the bubble generating bathtub according to the present invention,
In order to prevent the occurrence of the siphon phenomenon, the efficiency of the bubbling operation will not decrease even if the scrubbing operation and bubbling operation are continuously switched. Furthermore, if the handrail protruding from the upper edge of the bathtub is covered with a handrail cover, it looks beautiful and is also safe in terms of strength since the bather cannot directly touch the air piping.
