複数のフレキシブル回路基板と、このフレキシブ
ル回路基板に接続された回路配線板とを備えてな
る液晶表示装置において、 上記駆動用ＩＣは４辺形にしてその入力端子が
４辺の内の１辺側に設けられ、更に上記フレキシ
ブル回路基板は上記液晶パネルとの接続部の外側
で且つ上記回路配線板が内側に位置するようにコ
字状に折曲げられると共に、上記液晶パネルの周
辺部が上記回路配線板と一部重なるように構成さ
れてなることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 (2) 請求項１記載のフレキシブル回路基板は、
可撓性を有するテープキヤリアと、このテープキ
ヤリア上に設けられ上記回路配線板に接続される
複数の外部回路接続用のアウター・リードとを備

る両面に、該リードの長手方向とほぼ直角方向に
