【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 共通のサーマルヘツドを用いて、インクリボン
を使用する熱転写方式と感熱紙を使用するダイレ
クトサーマル方式のいずれでも使用可能なサーマ
ルプリンタにおいて、 転写後のインクリボンを巻き取る際のガイドと
なる蝶番状のフラツプをスプリングによつて一方
向へ回動付勢して設けると共に、インクリボンが
ない時には前記付勢力により回動するフラツプに
当接されてオンになり、インクリボンがある時に
はその張力によつて前記フラツプが付勢力に抗し
て回動されることにより離間してオフになる近接
スイツチを設け、 この近接スイツチがオンの時には前記サーマル
ヘツドへの通電時間を長くし、オフの時には前記
サーマルヘツドへの通電時間を短くするようにし
たことを特徴とするサーマルプリンタ。
