The present invention relates to a device for storing the number of change bills, and particularly to a device for storing the number of change bills in a banknote validating machine, which constantly grasps the number of stored low-denomination bills and makes the most of sales opportunities. Note that in the following figures, the same reference numerals indicate the same or corresponding parts.

It takes about 2 minutes to replenish 30 sheets. ), and with the latter method mentioned above, it is not possible to accurately determine the number of bills that have been replenished (however, a sensor that detects the presence or absence of change tags can tell whether there are several dozen low-denomination bills in the storage compartment or not). There was a problem. Therefore, in the latter case, even if there is a fishing tag, the sensor that detects the presence or absence of a fishing tag may determine that there is no fishing tag, and in this case, there is a problem that the fishing tag cannot be used effectively. Therefore, the problem of the present invention is to initially set the number of low-denomination bills that are manually replenished in the storage section of the bill validator, and to update this set value each time a low-denomination bill is received and dispensed thereafter.
To achieve this, by providing a change bill number memory device for a banknote validator that is equipped with a change bill number memory means for storing the number of low denomination bills stored in a storage section, change bills can be quickly replenished, and To enable the supplemented number of bones to be accurately used as a fishing ticket.

etc.), and the low-denomination bills in the storage section can be dispensed as a change for the accepted high-denomination bills, and furthermore, the storage section can be manually replenished with low-denomination bills (by opening the back cover Cvl, etc.). In the configured banknote validator, after the number of low-denomination banknotes manually replenished into the low-denomination banknote storage section is initially set from the outside (control unit 02, etc.) via a data transmission path (L, etc.), subsequent processing is performed. The setting value is updated each time a low-denomination bill is received or dispensed, and a change bill number storage means (Ml, etc.) stores the number of low-denomination bills currently stored in the low-denomination bill storage section; When the number of tickets is less than the number of tickets (such as the number of tickets when the empty detection sensor 100 determines that they are fishing bills, etc.), the number of tickets is sent to the outside via the data transmission path in response to a request from the outside via the data transmission path. It shall be equipped with a means for transmitting the number of bills (TR, etc.), and the following.

In the figure, the banknote validating machine 40 roughly consists of a validating section 30, a low denomination banknote storage section 19, and a high denomination banknote storage section 20. Note that here, high-denomination banknotes refer to banknotes consisting of 5,000 yen bills and 10,000-yen banknotes, and low-denomination banknotes refer to 1,000-yen banknotes. The discrimination section 30 mainly includes an input port 31, a transport mechanism 32, and a banknote sensor 33 that is provided in the middle of the transport mechanism 32 and detects the characteristics of banknotes. Since this discrimination section 30 is well known, detailed explanation will be omitted. The low-denomination bill storage section 19 mainly includes a conveyance path 21 extending vertically downward in the direction in which banknotes are ejected from the dispensing port of the discriminating section 30, a storage located on the right side of this conveyance path 21,
It also consists of a storage drive section located on the left side. The conveyance path 21 includes two paths provided at both ends in the banknote conveyance direction.
It is formed by the surface of the conveyor belt 8 wound between the conveyor boops IJ 7 and the left side surface of the conveyor guide 4. Then, the banknote is conveyed while being sandwiched between the conveyor belt 8 and the pressing roller 7a which is in opposing contact with the conveyor pulley 7 via the conveyor belt 8. The storage is located on the right side of the conveyance guide 4 and the spring 6a on this side.
The pressing plate 6 is formed between the left side surface of the pressing plate 6 and the left side surface of the pressing plate 6 pressed against it, and as the banknote 10A is stored, the pressing plate 6 moves to the right in the figure. The housing drive section mainly includes a motor frame 11, a drive motor 12, two cam shafts 13 connected to the motor frame 11, and cams 14 attached to these, respectively. The storage unit consisting of the above-mentioned storage and storage drive unit has exactly the same configuration for both the low-denomination banknote 19 and the high-value banknote 20. In addition, the discrimination section 30. Low denomination bill storage section 19. Both high-value banknote storage units 20 are attached to the base 1. Among the banknotes accepted by the banknote validator 40 in this way,
The structure is such that low-denomination bills are stored in 19 storage areas and high-value banknotes are stored in 20 storage areas. In addition, each storage section 19.2
The banknotes stored in 0 can be taken out by opening the back cover on the back of each storage section. Next, when replenishing low denomination bills, the back cover CVI of the low denomination bill storage section 19 is opened and low denomination bills 10 are replenished all at once, as shown in FIG. At this time, the number of banknotes to be replenished is counted in advance. FIG. 1 is a system configuration diagram including the banknote validator 40 and the control unit 02 of the vending machine, and L indicates the banknote validator 40 and the control unit 02.
2, and in this case, the transmission path is composed of six signal lines. The control unit 02 controls the vending machine while performing necessary communication with the banknote validator 40 via this transmission path. Further, the banknote validator 40 executes its assigned operations based on commands given from the control unit 02 via this transmission path. Further, Ml and TR are change bill number storage means and change bill number transmission means as partial functional units of the banknote validator 40. In the present invention, the number of low denomination bills 10 to be replenished is initialized from the control section 02 to the change bill number storage means M1 as a RAM in the bill validator 40 via a data transmission path. That is, this replenishment number is once input into the control unit 02 using the numeric keypad 03 of the control unit 02, and the input number is converted into serial data from the control unit 02 to the bill validator 40 and transmitted by data transmission. Next, the bill validator 40 stores the sent replenishment number data in the built-in change bill number storage means M1, and operates as described below in combination with the empty detection sensor described below. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the principle of this empty detection sensor (out-of-change bill detection sensor) 100. This figure shows this sensor taken out from the low-denomination bill storage section 19, and FIG. 4 (A) is a side view thereof. , (B) is a diagram of the discriminator 40 viewed from the back side. This sensor 100 turns on the photo ink converter 104 via the actuator 103 depending on the thickness of the stored low denomination banknotes 1 and 0. OFF L, and is configured to determine the presence or absence of banknotes 10. However, the thickness of the banknote 10 differs considerably between official notes and notes circulating in the market (approximately 1.3~
1.6 times), it is extremely difficult to accurately detect the number of remaining banknotes with this sensor. Therefore, even if about 20 bills 10 remain, the empty detection sensor 100 may detect that there is no change bill. Now, the operation of the main part of the present invention in combination with this empty detection sensor will be described. Turning off the empty detection sensor 100
(with change bill), the control unit 02 determines that at least 10 low-denomination bills 10 are colored, and receives a message from the discriminator 40 indicating that the discriminator 10 has accepted a high-denomination bill, for example, -10,000 yen. 40 to dispense nine low-denomination bills (1,000 yen). When the empty detection sensor is ON (no fishing tags), the control unit 02 receives the number of fishing tags stored in the aforementioned fishing tag number storage means M1 from the identification device 40 via the fishing tag number transmitting means TR, and transmits the number of fishing tags. It operates so that the number of coins can be paid out. For example, if the number of stored notes is 4, up to 4 thousand yen bills can be dispensed, so it is possible to accept Tenshi yen bills and dispense 4 thousand yen bills as change tickets, and if this sale is carried out, the bill validator 40 to pay out 4 thousand yen coins. The above-mentioned number of stored bills is controlled within the discriminator 40 so that one bill is subtracted for each low-denomination bill dispensed, and if a low-denomination bill is inserted or received, the number is added.
