  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ 基板上に多数の端面発光型ＥＬ素子が連続的
    に形成されたラインヘツドを設け、このラインヘ
    ツドの基板の下に位置する下部カバーを備えて前
    記端面発光型ＥＬ素子の発光端面を被うカバー部
    材を設け、このカバー部材の下部カバー上に前記
    ラインヘツドの駆動回路が形成された駆動回路基
    板を取付けたことを特徴とするラインヘツドユニ
    ツト。 ２ 基板上に多数の端面発光型ＥＬ素子が連続的
    に形成されたラインヘツドを設け、前記ラインヘ
    ツドの基板の下に位置するガラス製の下部カバー
    を備えて前記端面発光型ＥＬ素子の発光端面を被
    うカバー部材を設け、このカバー部材の下部カバ
    ー上に前記ラインヘツドの駆動回路を形成したこ
    とを特徴とするラインヘツドユニツト。
