置本体とが、この表示装置本体もしくは前記デイ
スプレイのいずれか一方に組み込まれたコネクタ
に抜き差し自在に接続される接続ケーブルを介し
て相互に結合される表示装置であつて、前記接続
ケーブル内に設けられ、前記コネクタに接続され
る側とは反対側の端部が接地された一対の信号線
と、前記コネクタに接続され、このコネクタに対
する前記接続ケーブルの接続が不完全であること
を、前記一対の信号線の片端接地を電気的に論理
判断することで検知するケーブル接続不良検知回
路と、このケーブル接続不良検知回路の出力を受
けてケーブル接続不良を視覚表示するケーブル接
続不良表示回路とを具備することを特徴とする表
