[Detailed description of the invention] [Field of industrial application] The present invention relates to an abdominal breathing accelerator, and more specifically, the invention relates to an abdominal breathing promoting device, and more specifically, by intermittently pressurizing the abdomen with an air bag inflated by air, the upward movement of the diaphragm is suppressed. This invention relates to an abdominal breathing promoting device for helping people actively perform abdominal breathing.

In general, breathing movements in the human body are performed by muscles called respiratory muscles. There are inspiratory muscles that expand the thoracic cavity to cause inhalation, and expiratory muscles that narrow the thoracic cavity. During quiet breathing, the inspiratory muscles mainly work to cause the inhalation movement, and when these muscles relax, the ribcage becomes elastic due to the elasticity of the lungs. The expiratory muscles do not work actively because they contract naturally and the exhalation movement occurs. In addition, breathing methods are classified into abdominal breathing, where the diaphragm mainly works, and thoracic breathing, where the intercostal muscles work mainly, but it is generally known that abdominal breathing is easier than chest breathing. There is.

However, the elasticity of the lungs decreases as we get older, so in elderly people, the natural contraction of the thorax does not allow for sufficient exhalation movement, leaving a large amount of air left in the lungs to be exhaled. The problem is that this often causes difficulty in breathing due to a decrease in the amount of oxygen taken in by breathing.

With the airbag placed on the abdomen, a belt is wound around the torso, and the airbag is inflated and deflated in accordance with breathing using compressed air sent and exhausted through an air control device. The abdomen is pressurized through expansion, and the non-stretchable belt that wraps around the abdomen compresses the entire abdominal area, which pushes up the diaphragm and increases the volume of exhalation. .

In the drawings, reference numeral 1 indicates an abdominal breathing promoting device, and 2 indicates a belt constituting the abdominal breathing promoting device 1. The belt 2 is made of a non-stretchable material and has a length that can be wrapped around the abdomen of a human body. A pair of engagement tapes 3, 3 are sewn to both ends in the longitudinal direction so as to be able to lock the belt 2 in an annular manner.
An air bag 4 is attached to the back side of the belt 2. The Airbag 4 has an appropriate capacity (approximately 500cc
One end of a flexible air hose 5 is connected to the air bag 4, and the other end of the air hose 5 is connected to an air control device 6. The air control device 6 includes a compressor for creating compressed air,
A solenoid valve for switching the air supply/exhaust, a timer for controlling the solenoid valve, etc. (all not shown) are built in, and are provided so that the air bag 4 can be alternately fed and exhausted at regular intervals.

While applying Air Bag 4 to the abdomen of the human body,
By winding the belt 2 around the torso and locking both ends of the belt 2 with the engagement tapes 3, 3, the attached state as shown in FIG. 2 can be obtained. In this state, when the air control device 6 is activated and the supply and exhaust of compressed air is synchronized with the breathing cycle of the user by adjusting the built-in solenoid valve control timer, the air hose 5 is activated at regular intervals.
The air bag 4 repeatedly expands and contracts in accordance with the breathing movement of the human body by the compressed air sent and exhausted through the air bag 4. During the inflation process, the abdomen is pressurized by the air bag 4, and the belt 2 is used to compress the surrounding area of the abdomen. As the diaphragm is squeezed, the diaphragm is pushed up and more air remaining in the lungs can be pushed out, while during the contraction process, the air equivalent to the exhaled volume can be naturally inhaled. , it is possible to increase the amount of breathing due to abdominal breathing.

The present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, and as described above, an air bag operated by compressed air is applied to the abdomen, and the air bag is inflated and deflated in accordance with the breathing movement of the human body to pressurize the abdomen. By promoting the upward movement of the diaphragm through the pressurizing action and the constricting action of the belt, it has become possible to actively perform abdominal breathing using the diaphragm.
