の光ビーム量を二段階以上切り替える光ビーム駆
動手段と、データ消去時に照射する磁界強度を二
段階以上切り替える磁界発生手段とを具え、光磁
気デイスクの連続消去時に、書き込み再生時より
も高速に前記スピンドル・モータを回転させると
共に、照射する光ビーム量と磁界強度をスピンド
ル・モータの回転速度に比例して大きくすること
によつて、デイスクの初期化またはデータ消去を
高速に行なうようにしたことを特徴とする光磁気
