て現像剤を搬送する現像剤担持体と、この現像剤
担持体にトナーのみからなる一成分現像剤を供給
する現像剤供給手段と、一方の端部が上記現像剤
担持体に向け付勢された板バネを有し、現像剤担
持体に圧接して現像剤の薄層を形成するトナー量
規制部材とを備えた一成分現像装置において、上
記トナー量規制部材は、その一端が支持体により
挟持され固定されており、上記支持体には、トナ
ー量規制部材を挟持する一対の挟持面と、トナー
量規制部材の被挟持部端面を係止する係止面とが
設けられていることを特徴とする一成分現像装置
。 (2) 支持体は、挟持面を有する一対の支持部材
と、係止面を有し上記一対の支持部材に介装され
るスペーサとから構成されることを特徴とする請
求項1記載の一成分現像装置。 (3) トナー量規制部材の被挟持部の厚さをtと
