Claims (1)
上部電極及び下部電極を配備して、両アルミニウ
ムに圧力を加えながら両電極間に通電して、アル
ミニウムの持つ電気抵抗により発熱と、各アルミ
ニウム板と電極間及びアルミニウム相互の接触抵
抗に起因する発熱現象を利用して、該アルミニウ
ム板を溶解し、固着するようにした抵抗溶接装置
において、 前記上部電極とアルミニウムとの間及び下部電
極とアルミニウムとの間に、アルミニウムよりも
電気抵抗率が大きく、且つアルミニウムよりも融
点が高い材料で成る金属片を配置したことを特徴
とするアルミニウムの抵抗溶接装置。 (2) 上記金属片は、それぞれ上部電極及び下部
電極の各先端部を被覆する形状にしたことを特徴
とする請求項1記載のアルミニウムの抵抗溶接装
置。 (3) 上記金属片は、上部電極の上下移動と連動
してアルミニウムの上面及び下面に常時未使用の
金属片が位置するようなロール形状にしたことを
特徴とする請求項1記載のアルミニウムの抵抗溶
