貯留された塵芥を輸送するための輸送路となる輸
送管が第3開閉弁を介して接続された塵芥貯留容
器と、前記輸送管が接続された塵芥収容室と前記
塵芥貯留容器内を減圧する吸引装置とを備えた塵
芥収集車とからなり、前記吸引装置により塵芥貯
留容器内を負圧化し、負圧化状態で吸気管から塵
芥貯留容器内に外気を導入することで、この塵芥
貯留容器に貯留された塵芥を塵芥収容室に吸引収
集する塵芥収集装置において、 前記輸送管の立上げ部の適所に吸入管が第4開
閉弁を介して接続され、一方、前記塵芥収容室に
は、該塵芥収容室内の圧力を検出する第1圧力検
出装置が設けられるとともに、前記塵芥貯留容器
には、該塵芥貯留容器内の圧力を検出する第2圧
力検出装置が設けられ、これら第1圧力検出装置
及び第2圧力検出装置で予め設定される複数の設
定圧力値に基づいて、前記第1〜第3開閉弁の開
閉作動、及び前記第4開閉弁の開閉作動を制御し
、吸引収集時において、第4開閉弁を開放して吸
入管から前記輸送管の立上げ部に外気を吸入する
ことで、輸送管の立上げ部に溜まつた汚水などの
流動物を吸引収集するように構成されたことを特
