Claims (1)
- 熱転写記録モードと感熱記録モードを備えた画
像形成装置において、記録紙がセツトされ、これ
を覆うカバーが閉じられ、且つ感熱記録モードが
選択されると、記録紙を所定長搬送すると共に、
サーマルヘツドを駆動し、サーマルヘツドの下流
側に設けた記録紙判別センサで記録紙に対する印
字の有無を検出し、検出結果により記録紙を判別
し、記録紙が普通紙であると判定された場合にエ
ラーメツセージを表示部に表示するようにしたこ
とを特徴とする画像形成装置。
