  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 用紙カセツトに設けられた移動自在なサイ
    ズ選定表示手段の位置を検知する複数個のサイズ
    検知スイツチにより、用紙カセツトに収容された
    用紙のサイズを検知する装置において、 前記サイズ選定表示手段は、上記用紙カセツト
    の一側面に移動自在に設けたスライド部材に複数
    種類のピツチで配列された複数個の磁石であり、
    前記サイズ検知スイツチは、上記磁石と対面する
    ように少なくとも１つのピツチで配列された複数
    個のリードスイツチであり、さらに、前記複数個
    の磁石のうち、リードスイツチの最小の配列ピツ
    チよりも幅の広い部分の両側に隣接する磁石の磁
    極を互いに上下逆向きにしたことを特徴とする用
    紙サイズ検知装置。 (2) 前記リードスイツチの間に磁界遮蔽板を設
    けたことを特徴とする請求項１記載の用紙サイズ
    検知装置。
