  1. ホームコントローラと複数のアダプタとをバス
    ケーブルに接続したホームバスシステムにおいて
    、前記ホームコントローラは、送受信回路と、契
    約している許容電流量を設定する契約電流量設定
    キーと、前記アダプタに接続された端末機器をオ
    ン、オフするための操作キーと、自己アドレス及
    び前記アダプタのアドレスを設定するためのアド
    レス設定キーと、これらを駆動するマイクロコン
    ピユータとを有し、前記各アダプタは、送受信回
    路と、前記アダプタに接続された前記端末機器を
    オン、オフする操作キーと、自己アドレス及び前
    記ホームコントローラのアドレスを設定するアド
    レス設定キーと、前記端末機器をオン・オフさせ
    るリレー及びリレードライバと、前記端末機器で
    消費される電流を検出する電流検出手段と、これ
    らを駆動するマイクロコンピユータとをそれぞれ
    有することを特徴とするホームバスシステム。
