をコンパクトにした消火栓を提供し、以て積雪寒
冷地での防災に役立たせることを目的とするもの

(作用)

(実施例)
本発明を実施例により具体的に説明すると、第
1図に示すように消火栓は取水部aの背を低くし
て貯水槽1に設備され、弁体2は貯水槽1内の水
面より所要に低くして取水管3の内部に水密状に
配置されているので、冬期寒冷時に水面が凍結し
て氷4で覆われても弁体2及び弁体2直下の水は
凍結することがなく、使用時には第2図に示すよ
うに取水部aが持ち上げられ使用に適した状態で
給水に供される。取水部aは第3図に示すように
上部には水密状にロツト5を案内し、下部には通
水管6を設けて側方の取水口7へ連通している。
通水管6の下端には第4図に示すように弁体2を
一体に設け、弁体2の内部には上部にネジ座8
を、下部に弁座9を設けている。そしてロツト5
下端に一体のネジ軸10をネジ座8に螺合し、ネ
ジ軸10の下端に回動自在に係止された弁11を
弁座9に着座し、ロツト5の上端にハンドル12
を設けている。通水管6は取水管3の上部で取水
管3と一体のボンネツト13に水密状に案内さ
れ、同時に弁体2もその下端外周に係合したパツ
キング14により取水管3の内周に水密状に昇降
自在に案内され、上昇端においては弁体2の上部
外周に凹設した溝15にボンネツト13の内周に
周設した止めリング16を係止して第5図に示す
ように取水時に取水部aを含む弁体2の落下を防
止している。したがつて、取水時には第2図に示
した姿勢で取水部aが保持され、ハンドル12に
より弁11が開放され、取水口7のキヤツプ17
が取り外ずされて貯水槽内の水はポンプにより表
面の凍結に影響されることなくストレーナ18よ
り取水管3を経て弁体2の弁座9より通水管6を
通り取水口7より取水される。使用後はハンドル
12で弁11を弁座9に圧接閉塞した後、取水部
aを押圧しボンネツト13の上端に着座するまで
