設定する設定手段と; 合焦光学系と; 該合焦光学系を光軸方向へ移動させる移動手段
と; 外部操作可能であり該操作により前記移動手段
を駆動可能な操作手段と; 該操作手段が操作されたことを検出する検出手
段と; 前記移動手段を駆動するための電動手段と; モード選択操作手段からの電気信号に応じて、
前記移動手段と前記電動手段とを連結する第1の
位置と、該連結を解除し前記移動手段と前記操作
手段とを連結する第2の位置とにそれぞれ変位可
能なクラツチ手段と; 該クラツチ手段を前記第1、第2の位置にそれ
ぞれ電気的に変位させるクラツチ駆動手段と; 前記設定手段と前記クラツチ駆動手段とを制御
する制御手段とを具備し、 該制御手段は、前記モード選択操作手段によつ
て前記第1モードが選択されたときは、前記設定
手段を作動させて前記第1モードを設定すると共
に前記クラツチ駆動手段を介して前記クラツチ手
段を前記第2の位置に変位させ、 前記モード選択操作手段によつて前記第2モー
ドが選択されたときは、前記設定手段を作動させ
て前記第2モードを設定すると共に前記クラツチ
駆動手段を介して前記クラツチ手段を前記第1の
位置に変位させるが、前記第2モード設定時に前
記検出手段によつて前記操作手段の操作が検出さ
れたときには、前記設定手段を再び作動させて前
記第2モードから前記第1モードへ切り換えると
共に前記クラツチ駆動手段を介して前記クラツチ
手段を前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置へ変位
させることを特徴とするレンズ鏡筒。
