るものである。 It would be very convenient if the bicycle could be carried in a passenger car, such as when bringing a bicycle that was left in front of the station due to rain showers, etc., or when you want to go to a place where you can no longer enter by car due to the width of the road. Bicycles cannot fit into the trunk of a car, and because they have protruding parts such as handlebars and pedals, it is difficult to safely secure them to commercially available roof carriers.
The present invention was developed based on the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is to fix a rectangular pedestal on the roof of a passenger car, and to install guide rollers horizontally in the front and rear directions on the left and right upper surfaces of the pedestal. A pair of front and rear guide rollers are rotatably supported via shafts, and have a width corresponding to the front and rear guide rollers, and have a length such that the tip part contacts the guide rollers when the vehicle is tilted to the side of a passenger car. A frame body is provided, and the frame body is configured to be removably attached to the base, and a wheel receiving plate for connecting and supporting a bicycle wheel is fixed to one side of the frame body near the base end, and a wheel receiving plate for connecting and supporting a bicycle wheel is fixed to one side of the frame body near the base end, and a wheel receiving plate is fixed to the side near the distal end of the frame body. A body support rod that connects and supports the bicycle frame facing the wheel support plate is pivotally supported in the longitudinal direction of the frame so that it can be raised and lowered freely, and the bicycle is fixed to the wheel support plate and the body support rod with a tightening device such as a string. By configuring the frame so that it can be mounted in a tilted position on the pedestal from one side of the passenger car via the guide rollers, anyone can safely place it on the roof of the passenger car without damaging the car body with the steering wheel or pedals. To provide a bicycle carrier that can be easily mounted on a flattened bicycle and transported safely.

to fix. A pair of front and rear guide rollers 3, 3 are rotatably supported on the upper surface of both left and right sides of the pedestal 2 through a horizontal axis in the front and back direction. Place stopper 1 by sandwiching 3 and 3 from the front and back.
0 is integrally provided on the base 2 in a protruding manner. 4 is a frame for supporting and fixing the bicycle 4a,
As shown in FIG. 1, this frame 4 has a width corresponding to the pair of front and rear guide rollers 3, 3 that are pivotally supported on the pedestal 2, and when the frame body 4 is tilted to the side of a passenger car, The side has a length such that it comes into contact with the guide rollers 3, 3. An angled wheel receiving plate 5 is provided on one side (outward side) near the base end of the frame 4.
At the same time, on the side near the tip of the frame 4 facing the wheel receiving plate 5, there is a body support rod 6 in the shape of a substantially U-bicycle that connects and supports the frame of the bicycle a. 4 is pivoted so that it can be raised and lowered in the longitudinal direction. 7 is a handle integrally formed at the base end of the frame 4, and 8 is a connecting rod for reinforcement.

が一層容易となる。 The pedestal 2 and frame 4 may be made of any material such as wood, metal, aluminum, synthetic resin, etc., but it is better to make them from lightweight and strong materials. It is convenient to wrap vinyl tape, cloth, etc. in advance around the parts where metals come into contact with each other and the parts where the fixing string is tightened, such as the part of the frame 4 that contacts the bicycle a. Further, if the outer peripheral surfaces of the guide rollers 3, 3 are concave in an arc shape, when the frame body 4 is mounted on the base 2, it is possible to prevent the frame body 4 from shifting in the front-rear direction, and positioning thereof becomes easier.

照)。 Next, how to use the present invention will be explained. First, as shown in FIG. 1, the left and right sides of the frame 4 are
The passenger car 1 is placed against the guide rollers 3, 3 on the left side in the direction of movement of the passenger car, with the handle 7 side touching the ground, and leaning against it in an inclined state. In this state, the bicycle a is held and the front and rear wheels are placed on the wheel support plate 5, and then the front and rear wheels are fixed to the wheel support plate 5 with strings 11, respectively. At this time, the string 11 is inserted into the V-shaped groove 9 cut out in the wheel support plate 5 and wound two or more times to be tied and fixed (see FIG. 2).

Furthermore, the right end of the handle (bell attachment part) is tied to the upper left part of the frame 4 to stabilize the handle so that it does not wobble.

You can choose freely.
Furthermore, since the body support rod 6 also serves as a spacer, the entire bicycle a is supported on one side (outside) of the frame 4 in a stable, substantially vertical posture as shown in FIG. The lateral protrusion does not protrude to the other side (inside) of the frame 4.

By lifting the bicycle a as a fulcrum and pushing it in the opposite direction, the bicycle a can be easily placed on the pedestal 2 with less operating force due to the guiding action of the rollers 3, 3 and the lever principle. Then, the frame body 4 is tied and fixed to three or more appropriate parts of the base 2 with strings or the like. As a result, bicycle a is placed on the pedestal 2 in a reclining position with the handle side raised, so the stacking height can be kept as low as possible. Air resistance during transportation is lower than that of bicycles, and even when using a car cover, the cover can be placed on the bicycle a while it is still mounted, which is extremely convenient. In addition, the horizontal width (stacked width) of bicycle a when placed on pedestal 2 can be made shorter by the amount of inclination compared to when it is mounted in a horizontal position, making it a stable and compact bicycle even though it is relatively bulky due to its structure. It is possible to transport the load in a suitable position.

However, it is possible to fix the bicycle a and the frame body 4 with a single touch by attaching a hook to the end of the rubber and locking the hook, or by inserting a pin. It may be fixed.

Since the pedals, handles, etc. of the bicycle a do not protrude inwardly (towards the passenger car) of the frame 4, the protruding parts such as the unloading pedals do not damage the outer surface of the passenger car. In addition, the frame 4 of the present invention, other than being used as a bicycle carrier, can also be used alone as a bicycle holder for storing or displaying bicycles, or as a frame for packaging bicycles. can.
