該ピニオン部に夫々噛合する両側の該歯車部を連
結する連結シヤフトを設けてなるため、ピニオン
部及びラツクギヤ部の垂直方向の一部をテープ収
納筐体が挿入位置から装着位置へと昇降移動する
のに必要な移動スペース内に含むことが出来、従
つて、上記スペースに含まれたラツクギヤ部の垂
直方向の長さ分だけホルダ底面より下方に突出さ
せずに装置の薄型化を図ることが出来、記録/再
生装置の薄型化の設計に充分対応出来、しかもテ
ープ収納筐体を挿入されたホルダを確実かつスム
ーズに挿入位置から装着位置に移動出来る。しか
も一対のピニオン部に噛合する両側の歯車部を連
結して、駆動力を他方のピニオン部に伝達する連
結シヤフトがホルダの上下動を妨げない位置に横
架させることができるとともに、駆動モータ等の
駆動機構を片側に設けるだけで両側のピニオン部
を同時に駆動できるので装置の小型化にも対応す
ることができ、連結シヤフトにより左右両側のピ
ニオンの回転の周期がとれるためホルダ移動を安
定に行なうことができる等の特長を有する。
