A film or a molded product is obtained by using a solvent, and a dehydration/cyclization reaction is further advanced by high temperature treatment or chemical treatment to obtain a polyimide molded product.

It is also possible to obtain a film by desolvation by drying or by immersing the polymer solution together with the substrate in a coagulation bath to coagulate the polymer solution. The film obtained here is sometimes called a gel film, but unlike the gel film that gives a three-dimensional network structure obtained in the present invention,
It does not form a three-dimensional network structure due to chemical bonds. Hereinafter, the three-dimensional network structure film obtained by the present invention will be referred to as a gel film.

In particular, polyimide made by combining pyromellitic dianhydride and paraphenylene diamine exhibits the highest level of physicochemical heat resistance, but it has poor film properties, is brittle, and has extremely poor mechanical properties. It is inferior. In this type of polyimide, it is also possible to improve the mechanical properties of the polyimide film by copolymerization technology. As an attempt to improve mechanical properties without reducing heat resistance, as shown in JP-A-63-254131, aromatic diamine was used in a combination system of pyromellitic dianhydride and paraphenylene diamine. 4.4 as another ingredient

By preparing a so-called polymeric gel film with high properties and further proceeding with dehydration and cyclization reactions to form a three-dimensional network structure of polyimide film, it is possible to achieve excellent mechanical properties without impairing the heat resistance of polyimide. The purpose is to obtain a polyimide film with a high temperature.

The reaction time is within 5 hours, preferably within 2 hours. If the reaction temperature is lower than 110° C., it is not preferable because in addition to the difficulty in handling and the reaction method, the reaction itself may not proceed sufficiently because the temperature itself is too low. If the reaction temperature exceeds 30° C., a gelation phenomenon may occur during generation, and a uniform film may not be obtained.

From the viewpoint of ease of handling, it is preferable to adjust the content to 0% by weight. If the concentration of polyamic acid is less than 3% by weight, the resulting gel will have poor self-supporting properties, and if it exceeds 40% by weight, the solid content concentration will be too high, resulting in an increase in solution viscosity during polymerization.
Polymerization reactions tend not to proceed as expected.

If it is outside the range of 60 to 100), the degree of polymerization of the polymer will not increase and the resulting structure will be incomplete. Furthermore,
If the molar ratio of the [C] acid component to this is less than 2, a three-dimensional network structure will not be formed and so-called gelation will not occur. A preferable molar ratio of component [C] to form a three-dimensional network structure is 2 or more. However, even when the molar ratio of the [C] acid component is less than 2, the apparent viscosity of the polymer solution may be increased and the film-forming ability of the polyamic acid may be significantly improved.
