Abstract

PURPOSE:To directly load a cassette tape and to confirm the revolving direction of the tape by providing a transparent and conductive film switch on a transparent window part of a cassette cover. CONSTITUTION:A cassette cover 24 of a cassette tape recorder 10 is kept closed, and a transparent window 12, a transparent and conductive film switch 17, and the holes 16, 21 and 23 for the window 12 are formed on each other on the axis of a reel shaft 14. Thus the shaft 14 can be confirmed in the recorder 10 through the window 12 and the switch 17. At the same time, the revolving direction of a cassette tape 26 can be visually confirmed even in a working state of the recorder 10. Then it is possible to confirm a normal reproduction state or a rewind/fast forward state.
