[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to an improvement of a seat cover fixing device used for assembling vehicle seats and the like.

(Prior Art) A conventional seat cover fixing device will be explained with reference to FIG.

The seat cover 9 is made of three layers consisting of a backing cloth, a sponge, and an outer skin, and has a beaded edge 10 formed along the ridgeline of the seat. 11 in the figure is Kagami, 1

The conventional example has the following drawbacks. Since the seat cover 9 is positioned on the fixing base 1 and then clamped, it may be displaced during clamping.

Further, when the gusset is folded back and fixed to the seat frame b1, it is not clamped, so it may shift during the installation work.

(Purpose of the invention) The present invention was made in view of the above-mentioned conventional circumstances, and its purpose is to be able to securely position and fix the seat cover, and to also clamp the seat cover when fixing it to the elastic body of the seat. An object of the present invention is to provide a seat cover fixing device that can be used to fix a seat cover.

(Structure of the invention) The seat cover fixing device of the present invention is provided with a groove having a substantially U-shaped cross section in which the bead of the seat cover is removably fitted around the fixing base on which the seat cover is placed. A feature is that a clamp member is provided.

(Function) By fitting the bead into the groove having a substantially U-shaped cross section, it can be positioned and fixed. Since the bead is fixed, it can be fixed even when the seat cover is folded back.

(Example) An example of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a fixing base similar to the conventional example, and clamp members 2, 2 are provided on the upper edges of both sides of the fixing base 1, respectively.

Each clamp member 2 is formed by bending a spring material or a steel plate of 0.3 to 1.0 mm to form a mounting plate portion 2b, and a long mounting hole 2c is vertically bored in the mounting plate portion 2b.

Insert the screws 3, 3 into the mounting holes 2c and attach them to both sides of the fixing base 1.

In this embodiment, the seat cover 9 is fixed by fitting the bead 10 into the U-shaped groove 2a of the clamp member 2.

In the embodiment, the clamp is made of sheet metal, but it may be made of synthetic resin, and the material is arbitrary.

(Effects) As described above, the present invention provides a clamp member with a groove having a substantially U-shaped cross section in which the bead of the seat cover is removably fitted around the fixed base on which the molded seat cover is placed. Since the seat cover fixing device is constructed as such, the seat cover can be positioned and fixed simply by fitting the bead of the seat cover into the groove having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and the workability is very good.

Also in FIG. 1, the gusset is folded back and the bead is fixed, so that the end of the gusset will not shift when it is fixed to the seat frame.

By doing so, we will reach our intended purpose.
