を直流に直す整流回路と、該整流回路の二次側と
なる直流回路に直列に接続されるトランジスター
と、出力側にコンデンサーが直列に接続され上記
トランジスターからの出力電流を流して該トラン
ジスターを交互にオンオフする入力トランスと、
直流回路に直列に接続された負荷用コンデンサー
と、該負荷用コンデンサーに逆並列に夫々接続さ
れたダイオードと、上記トランジスターの接続中
間点及び上記直流回路に直列に接続された負荷用
コンデンサーの接続中間点にリアクトルを介して
接続される負荷となる放電灯と、上記トランジス
ターに接触あるいは近傍に配置されてトランジス
ターが一定温度を越えて昇温した場合に電源を切
るサーモスタツトとを有してなる放電灯点灯装置
