A typical airtight terminal for a small crystal resonator has two lead wires 3, 3 hermetically sealed inside a cylindrical metal outer ring 1 with a glass 2 in between, as shown in Fig. 2. It is. Conventionally, such hermetic terminals
As shown in FIG. 3, the fitting recess 5 of the metal outer ring 1
and a metal outer ring 1 in a recess 5 of a lower sealing jig 4 made of carbon having lead wire insertion holes 6, 6.
After fitting the glass tablet 2a with insertion holes for the lead wires 3, 3, inserting the lead wires 3, 3 into the lead wire insertion holes 6, 6 through the insertion holes of the glass tablet 2a, The upper ends of the lead wires 3, 3 are stacked on the lower sealing jig 4, and the upper sealing jig 7 has a recess 8 and an insertion hole 9, 9 for the lead wires 3, 3 on the lower surface thereof. The glass tablet 2a is fitted into the glass tablet 2a, and the entire glass tablet 2a is heated in this state to melt the glass tablet 2a, and the lead wires 3 are sealed while maintaining predetermined relative positions.

Each hermetic terminal was prepared according to its type and dimensional standards. Further, since the sealing jig discharged from the glass tablet 2a melting device is heated to a high temperature, it cannot be reused until a predetermined cooling time has elapsed. For these reasons, the dimensional standards for airtight terminals, more specifically, the diameters of the lead wires 3, 3, which are the constituent members of airtight terminals, and the length of the protrusion from the lower end of the metal outer ring 1 have been limited. In response to the changes, a large number of sealing jigs have been prepared for each hermetic terminal. As a result, conventional sealing jigs have problems such as increased storage space, misuse and reduced productivity due to having to select the one to be used from among a large number of sealing jigs. points are occurring.

A suitable hole can be selected from among two or more types of through holes for positioning and fixing, lead wire insertion holes, and bottomed holes for positioning and fixing formed in the jig. As a result, the number and types of sealing jigs that must be kept at all times are 25% lower than with conventional methods.
%, thereby achieving effects such as saving storage space for sealing jigs and eliminating the trouble of selecting a target jig from among a large number of sealing jigs.
Thus, the present invention is extremely useful as it provides a means for facilitating the management of sealing jigs.
