本考案は、ピストンロツド及び該ピストンロツ
ドに貫通されるシリンダーヘツドの間に配置され
て圧力流体をシールするロツド用シールに関す

対するダストシール6の弾性接触によつて外部ダ

の運転時にゴム様弾性材料パツキン4に低温収縮
が生じた場合に、シリンダーヘツド2の装着溝の
底周面及びパツキン4の接触の密着性が不安定に
なつて密封性を低下させるおそれが残されてい

ールリツプを有するパツキンのヒール部とシリン
ダーヘツドに設けられた装着溝の底周面との間に
締め代を設定するとともにヒール部の内方に環状
凹所を設け、硬質の材料をもつて内周側を円錐面
に形成されたバツクアツプリングをヒール部の環
状凹部内に圧挿し、更にやや軟質の合成樹脂材料
をもつて、外周面をバツクアツプリングの内周面
と同等の円錐面に形成された支持リングをバツク
アツプリングとパツキンのシールリツプとの間に

面に接触させて該ロツドの運動を案内し、更にピ
ストンロツドの偏心が生じた際に、ピストンロツ
ドとバツクアツプリングとの間隔が狭くなつた箇
所にある支持リングの部分が、両部材の間隔が広
くなつた側へ移行してピストンロツドの全周面に

リンダーヘツドに対するピストンロツドの偏心発
生時におけるピストンロツドの周面及び支持リン
グ間の曲部的な隙間の形成が、ピストンロツド及
びバツクアツプリング間の間隔が狭くなつた箇所
にあるバツクアツプリングの部分が狭圧により押
し出され、両部材の間隔が広くなつた方へ移動し
てピストンロツドの全周面に対する支持状態を保
持することによつて防止されるので、低温時及び
シリンダーヘツドに対するピストンロツドの偏心
発生時においてもパツキンによるシール性能が良
好な状態に保たれ、圧力装置は長期間にわたつて
