This catheter 1 has a length of approximately 250cm and a diameter of 6Fr.
~26 Fr, and on its distal end side, a plurality of ceramic balls 2 serving as a closing member having a predetermined weight for closing the distal opening are arranged in series and covered with a resin sheet 3. . The ceramic balls 2 are provided to add a predetermined weight to the tip of the catheter 1 and to make it easier to insert the catheter 1 into the body from the tip. It is also arranged in a way that maintains flexibility. A balloon 5 is provided on the catheter 1 near the ceramic bulb 2, and this balloon 5 is connected to an air inlet tube 6 provided at the proximal end of the catheter 1 through an axial hole (not shown) provided in the peripheral wall of the catheter 1. It is communicated with. Reference numeral 7 denotes a guide wire, which is inserted into the catheter 1 as shown in the figure when the catheter 1 is inserted.

This is a type that is inserted into the body with the guide wire 7 placed inside the catheter 1, and although the tip is weighted with a ceramic ball 2 to make insertion easier, the diameter of the catheter 1 itself Therefore, when the tip of the catheter comes close to the pylorus between the stomach and duodenum, it stops at the pylorus and cannot pass through the catheter properly, resulting in the problem that it takes time to insert the catheter 1 into the duodenum. .

The catheter is inserted into the body along the guide wire. When the tip of the catheter reaches the treatment site, the guidewire is removed, leaving only the catheter inserted into the body, and the necessary treatment is performed. As mentioned above, the catheter is inserted into the body along the guide wire, so even if its tip is located near the pylorus, it will be guided by the guide wire and will pass through there quickly and smoothly, unlike conventional catheters. There are very few cases where it stops.

The ring 12 can be made of any metal as long as it is suitable for medical use.
Further, it does not necessarily have to be made of metal as long as it can give a predetermined weight to the distal end of the catheter 11 for easy insertion. The reason why they are spaced apart is to ensure the flexibility of the tip.

By using the catheter 11, it is not necessary to insert the catheter 11 together with the guide wire 7 as in the conventional case, and in this embodiment, the catheter 11 is inserted as follows.

Since the guide wire 7 is extremely thinner than the catheter 11 and is made of a flexible material, its tip can easily reach the duodenum.

The catheter 11 is inserted into the body along the wire 7 so as to pass through the hole 13 of the catheter. Since the tip of the catheter 11 is weighted by a ring 12, insertion is extremely smooth, and even when the tip comes close to the pylorus, it passes through the pylorus without difficulty, and the tip of the catheter 11 enters the duodenum. . After the tip enters the duodenum, air is injected into the balloon 5 to inflate it.
The tip of the catheter 11 is carried to the intestinal tract by intestinal peristalsis, and is used for suctioning intestinal contents and injecting medicinal solutions. At this time, the guide wire 7 is of course removed.

This does not preclude the provision of an axial through hole in which the wire 7 is passed through the through hole, and the detailed design can be changed in various ways without changing the gist of the invention.
