Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the subject neutral paper containing a wood pulp produced using a specified chemical such as NaOH as the digesting agent, having a pH within a specified range, capable of production at a low cost, free from bad influence on a photosensitive material, excellent in pressure resistance and suitable for a wrapping material for photosensitive materials. CONSTITUTION:An objective neutral paper containing 20-100wt.% wood pulp produced using one or a combination of two or more selected from NaOH, Na2CO3, NaHCO3, Na2SO3 and NaHSO3 in 65-95% yield, having 6-9pH and preferably 200-600g/m<2> weight. By using this neutral paper and bonding the paper using an emulsion type adhesive having 6-9pH or a water soluble-type adhesive, the objective paper tube is formed.
