124は、その先FIELD OF INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION This invention relates to a novel cassette adapter. For more information,
A tape cassette (hereinafter referred to as "small tape cassette") smaller than the tape cassette (hereinafter referred to as "normal size tape cassette") currently commonly used in video tape recorders or videotape players (hereinafter referred to as rVTJ) , ) for use with a VTR, etc. for normal size tape cassettes, in particular, after a small tape cassette is attached to the cassette holder of the cassette adapter, the tape cassette should be prevented from falling off from the cassette holder. In addition, the loading operation of the loading mechanism is not started until after the tape cassette is attached to the holding part, and once the tape is pulled out from the tape cassette, the pulled out tape is It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel cassette adapter in which the holding state by the holding mechanism cannot be released unless the tape is wound into a tape cassette. BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY AND PROBLEMS VTRs have become surprisingly popular compared to the first paragraph. With this widespread use, VTRs have become extremely familiar, and their uses have expanded, and the demand for more convenience and ease of use has led to demands for smaller devices, and eventually smaller tape cassettes. is increasing. Various attempts have been made to meet the demand for smaller tape cassettes, but as small tape cassettes become more widespread, the already huge number of normal-sized tape cassette VTRs will become useless. There is a problem of coming. Therefore, we came up with an adapter method, in which we prepare a cassette adapter that has approximately the same appearance and size as a normal size tape cassette, and attach a small tape cassette to the cassette holding part of the cassette adapter. Pull out the magnetic tape from the cassette so that the magnetic tape is in the same position as the initial position of the magnetic tape in the normal size tape cassette, and then connect the cassette adapter with the small tape cassette installed to the VTR.
This is intended to enable the use of small tape cassettes in VTRs designed for normal size tape cassettes. In such a cassette adapter, while handling the cassette adapter with a tape cassette attached, the tape cassette may fall off from the cassette holding part (hereinafter simply referred to as the holding part) of the cassette adapter for some reason, or Even if the tape cassette does not fall off, it may be lifted from its normal mounting position in the holder due to a slight impact, and even if the tape cassette is not attached to the holder, it may be forgotten and careless. If the loading mechanism starts the loading operation, or if the tape is being pulled out from the tape cassette attached to the holder of the cassette adapter, the user may forget this and carelessly hold the tape cassette. There are also those who are treated like they are taken out of the department. If the magnetic tape falls off or floats up, or if it is carelessly loaded or unloaded, the magnetic tape may become creased or cut, and even if the magnetic tape does not fall off but floats up, the magnetic tape may fall off the head drum of the VTR. If the magnetic tape is not loaded smoothly, the magnetic tape may be folded or wrinkled, it may become impossible to load, or in the worst case, the magnetic tape may break, or it may cause the VTR to malfunction. In any case, it may cause a serious malfunction. Purpose of the Invention Therefore, the present invention provides a holding mechanism that prevents the tape cassette from falling off from the cassette holding part of the cassette adapter after the small tape cassette is attached to the cassette holding part of the cassette adapter. The loading operation of the loading mechanism is not started until after the tape is loaded into the tape cassette, and once the tape is pulled out from the tape cassette, the holding mechanism An object of the present invention is to provide a new cassette adapter which cannot be released from a holding state. Summary of the Invention In order to achieve the above object, the cassette adapter of the present invention has the following features:
In a cassette adapter to which a small-sized tape cassette is attached and used in a recording/playback device for a larger-sized tape cassette, the loading operation of pulling out the tape from the tape cassette attached to the holder of the cassette adapter and the tape a loading mechanism that performs an unloading operation to rewind the tape pulled out from the cassette into the tape cassette; a holding mechanism that prevents the tape cassette mounted on the holding section from falling off; a locking mechanism that later enables the loading operation of the loading mechanism to start, locks the holding state by the holding mechanism in conjunction with the start of the loading operation, and unlocks the held state in conjunction with the completion of the unloading operation; It is characterized by having the following. EXAMPLES The details of the cassette adapter of the present invention will be explained below according to the illustrated embodiments, but first, an example of a small tape cassette suitable for being attached to the cassette adapter of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIG. 2 is a small tape cassette 1 for a small video tape recorder, in which two tape reels 6 and 7 each having both ends of a magnetic tape 5 wound therein are arranged in a cassette case 4 consisting of an upper half 2 and a lower half 3. るためのカセットアダプタとしてきわめて好適である。[115] A protrusion 307 is erected on one side edge, and a protrusion 308 protruding upward is erected on the other end. The protrusion 307 erected at one end of the third connecting link 305 comes into contact with the other end of the second connecting link 303, so that when the second connecting link 303 rotates counterclockwise, ,
The protrusion 307 is pressed by the other end of the second connecting link 303, and the third connecting link 305 is prevented from rotating clockwise. Note that the head of the bottle 306 is formed into a conical shape. 309 is a left rotation arm. The rotating arm 309
A guide bin 310 is erected at the tip so as to protrude upward. The base end of the rotating arm 309 is provided with a wall 311 rising from the side edge in the counterclockwise direction and an eaves portion 312 extending from the upper end of the wall 311, thereby providing a U-shaped support at the base end. A portion is formed, and a support shaft 3 is attached to the support portion.
13 is inserted, whereby the rotating arm 309 is rotatably supported by the lower half 55. 314 is a torsion spring, and a ring-shaped part 315 formed in the middle part is supported by the support shaft 313 in an externally fitted manner, one arm 316a is attached to the wall 311 of the rotating arm 309, and the other arm 316a is attached to the wall 311 of the rotating arm 309.
16b are respectively engaged with the side surfaces of the protruding piece 65 formed at the tip of the partition wall 61, and by the elastic force of the spring 314, the rotating arm 309 is rotated clockwise. ing. Then, the clockwise side edge of the rotating arm 309 near z+j11 comes into contact with the spindle pin 306 of the third connecting link 305, thereby causing the rotating arm 309 to rotate in the clockwise direction. Limits are set. Furthermore, a sliding edge 317 is formed on the clockwise side edge near the base end of the rotating arm 309, and the sliding edge 317 is connected to a protrusion 308 provided at the other end of the third connecting link 305. It is in contact with. 318 is a tape cassette opening fitting that functions to automatically open the cover 8 of the tape cassette 1 when the tape cassette 1 is attached to the cassette adapter 60. Next, the tape cassette 1 is attached to the cassette adapter of the present invention described above, the tape is pulled out, and then the pulled out tape is wound into the tape cassette 1, and the tape cassette 1 is removed from the cassette adapter. The operation until it is taken out will be explained. In order to attach the cassette adapter l to the cassette adapter 6o, the holding mechanism is set in advance to a state in which the cassette can be attached. That is, the operator 66 is inserted into its guide groove 74 .
The first slider 83 is moved to the right by sliding it to the right until the left side i4 (in FIGS. 3 and 4) of 76 comes into contact with each guide bin 77, 78.
Slide the slider 84 to the left to remove each retainer 1.
09 and 110 are erected (as shown by the two-dot chain line in Fig. 4), so that the tape cassette 1 can be installed with both side edges of the cassette case 4 along the partition walls 61 and 62. Leave the holding part open. When the operator 66 is slid to the right as described above, the operator 66 is moved so that the guide bin 77 that is engaged with one of the guide grooves 74 enters the regulation groove 75 that follows the guide groove 74. The engagement position is changed, whereby the operating element 6
Since the head 7o of 6 is rotated downward, the head 70
The bottom plane 69 of the cassette push-up piece 124 pushes down the rotation U operation piece 127 of the cassette push-up piece 124 .
The tip of the operating piece 125 is raised upward. In this state, the tip of the head 7o of the operator 66 continues to push down the leaf spring 123. And again, this operator 6
6 is slid to the right as described above, the second slider 84 is slid to the left, and the notch 98 formed in the base 97 of the slider 84 engages with the lock pawl 196 of the lock plate 189. deviated from the corresponding position, the locking pawl 196 of the locking plate 189 is not formed on the side surface of the base of the slider 84, i.e., no notch is formed in which the locking pawl 196 can move through the plate surface of the slider 84. Therefore, the lock plate 189 corresponds to the current position, that is, the bin 20 erected from the lock plate 189.
0 remains engaged in the recess 168 provided in the opening/closing gear 162 and remains in a state where it cannot move. As a result, rotation of the disk portion of the opening/closing gear 162 is prevented by the bin 200 that remains engaged with the recess 168, and the opening/closing gear 162 cannot be rotated in either the loading operation direction or the unloading operation direction. become unable. As a result, the right rotating arm 275 and the left rotating arm 309 are locked in the state shown in FIG. Roller 279 and guide bin 310
is locked while being positioned at the location where the tape draw-out recess 43 of the tape cassette 1 is located. In this way, when the holding mechanism is in a state where it can load the tape cassette 1 (this state is the same as the state immediately after the tape cassette 1 is taken out from the adapter 60), the loading mechanism To automatically set a magnetic tape 5 in a state in which it can be reliably drawn out from a tape cassette 1 loaded in the tape cassette 1, and to surely prevent the loading mechanism from being erroneously operated. Further, when the second slider 84 is slid to the left, the inclined edge 102 of the release piece 101 touches the lock body 21.
6, the lock body 216 is rotated clockwise until the slider 84 returns to the right. The Q, 1jli edge of piece 101 continues to hold the protrusion 222 in that state. That means lock body 21
6, if the lock body 21
The state in which the step portion 224 of No. 6 is engaged with the inner surface of the side piece 208 of the engagement piece 207 of the switching plate 201, that is, the take-up gear 246 of the take-up idler 238 is the gear I# 148, 148 of the drive gear 144, A state in which it is engaged with ... (a state required only during unloading operation)
When the lock body 216 is locked, the stepped portion 22 of the lock body 216
4 and the inner surface of the side piece 208 of the switching plate 201, and the switching plate 201 is returned by the tensile force of its tension spring 214, whereby the winding gear 246 and the gear teeth 148, 148 of the drive gear 144, ..., and on the other hand, the operating tip 204 of the switching plate 201
The hooking pawl 179 of the stopper 175 of the clutch mechanism is meshed with the gear teeth 165, 165, . It is necessary to change the meshing state so that the opening/closing gear 162 can rotate only in the clockwise direction (loading operation direction), or if the lock body 216 In this state, the lock body 216
The stepped portion 224 is the side piece 20 of the engagement piece of the switching plate 201.
This is because even if the push button 230 is not engaged with the inner surface of the button 8, it is necessary to prevent the push button 230 from being pushed in by mistake and being set to the required state only during the above-mentioned unloading operation. In order to do this, the locking body 216 is rotated by the release piece 101 in synchronization with the tape cassette 1 being ready for installation. Note that when the rotating arms 275 and 309 are in a state other than the initial state described above, for example, in the middle of rotation, it is impossible for the holding mechanism to be in a state where the tape cassette 1 can be loaded as described above. Therefore, when the holding mechanism is set in such a state that the tape cassette l as described above can be attached, each rotating arm 275 and 30
9 are always set to the initial state described above. This is because when the rotating arm 275 is in the middle of its rotation, the opening/closing gear 162
Since the opening/closing gear 162 is pulled at a position other than its initial position, the opening/closing gear 162 is pulled into the recess 16 of the disc portion 166.
8 is pushed out to its outer peripheral surface 167, and when the bottle 2.00 is pushed out from the recess 168, the lock plate 189 is moved rearward and its lock claw! 96 is engaged within the notch 98 of the second slider 84. In this state, the second slider 84 is in a position completely shifted to the right, so each retainer 109, 110
Each of the holding pieces 117 and 118 is horizontally tilted to perform a holding operation, and the holding mechanism is not in a state where the tape cassette 1 can be attached to the holding section. When the tape cassette 1 is attached to the holding part of the cassette adapter 60, the bottom surface of the cassette case 4 of the tape cassette 1 pushes down the actuation piece 125 of the cassette push-up piece, which is raised diagonally upward. As a result, the rotating operation piece 127 of the push-up piece is pushed upward, and the upwardly pushed rotation operation piece 127 pushes up the head 70 of the operator 66. Then, the guide pin 77, which had been engaged with the regulation groove 75 of the head 70 of the operator 66, is moved from its engagement position to the lower end of the guide groove 74. As soon as this happens, the operator 66 can no longer stay still against the spring force of the leaf spring 123, which had been pushed down by the tip of the head, and the repulsive force of the leaf spring 123 causes the operator 66 to push down the tip of the head. is urged and slides to the left. By sliding the operator 66 to the left, the first slider 83 is slid to the left, and the second slider 84 is slid to the right.
18 are laid down horizontally and press both sides of the upper surface of the tape cassette 1. Incidentally, in order to more securely hold the tape cassette 1, it is preferable to slide the operator 66 to the left to the limit point. In this way, when the tape cassette 1 is attached to the cassette adapter 60, the holding operation of the tape cassette 1, or at least its initial operation, is inevitably performed simultaneously and automatically. After such a holding operation is performed, the notch 98 of the second slider 84 is placed in a position that allows the lock claw 196 of the lock plate 189 to enter. The gear 162 can now be rotated. When the tape cassette 1 is attached to the cassette adapter 60 as described above, the path of the bn magnetic tape between the tape reel 6 and the tape reel 7 of the tape cassette 1, that is, the tape bus, as shown in FIG. roller 2
79 and the outside of the bottle 310, that is, the notch 58 side. From this state, when the manual disc 264 is rotated counterclockwise, the opening/closing gear 162 is rotated clockwise.
To pull the bin 289 of the pivot arm 275 through the coupling plate, the pivot arm 275 pivots clockwise to the position shown in FIG. When the rotating arm 275 is rotated to the position shown in FIG.
The connecting link 298 is rotated clockwise, and this movement causes the second connecting link 303 and the third connecting link 30
5 to the left rotation arm 309, and causes the rotation arm 309 to rotate counterclockwise to the position shown in FIG. In this way, the left and right rotating arms 275
and 309 are rotated, the tape cassette 1
The magnetic tape 5 is pulled out by the guide rollers 279 and guide bins 310 of the rotating arms 275 and 309, respectively, and is finally in the state shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. Note that during the above-described loading operation, the take-up gear 246 is also rotated by rotating the manual disk 264, but unless the push button 230 is pressed, the tip of the swing plate 240 remains in the state shown in FIG. and the winding gear 246
Since it is away from the drive gear 144, it is just spinning idly. If the push button 230 is pressed during this loading operation (actually, it is unthinkable to operate the push button 230 while the loading operation is being performed), the swing plate 240
45 is a side piece 208 of the engagement piece 207 of the switching plate 201
Pushed by the outer surface and rotated, the winding gear 246 meshes with the gear teeth 148, 148, .
4 changes the meshing relationship between the stoppers 174 and 175 of the clutch mechanism with the gear teeth 165 and 165 of the opening/closing gear 162, and immediately prevents the opening/closing gear 162 from rotating in the direction of the loading operation. There is never an undesirable situation in which the tape 5 is on the one hand trying to be pulled out by the pivot arm 275 and on the other hand trying to be wound up by the rotation of the tape reel which is rotated in the winding direction according to the rotation of the impeller 137. There is no possibility that such an inconvenient situation would cause the magnetic tape 5 to break. However, needless to say, if the opening/closing gear 162 is rotated counterclockwise in the above state, this is considered a normal unloading operation.
The magnetic tape 5 is wound onto the tape reel 7 (the unloading operation in such a case is to start the loading operation, then stop the loading due to some kind of jam before the loading is completed). (This is done when it is necessary.) On the other hand, when the opening/closing gear 162 is rotated clockwise as described above, the recess 1 of the disc part 166 of the opening/closing gear 162
68 is also rotated in the clock rotation direction, and the bottle 200 engaged with the recess 168 is rotated on the convex sacral surface 16 on the side opposite to the recess 168.
9 and is pushed out to a position where it comes into sliding contact with the circumferential surface 167, and as the bottle 200 is pushed out in this way, the lock plate 189 moves and its lock claw 196
is engaged with the notch 98 of the second slider 84. At this time, the second slider 84 is prevented from sliding to the left, and the holding mechanism continues to hold the tape cassette 1 by its presser pieces 117 and 118.
locked in state. The position of the magnetic tape 5 shown in FIG. 14 is the same as the initial position of the magnetic tape in the normal size tape cassette. Therefore, the 611 tape 5 of the small tape cassette 1 can be used by attaching the tape cassette 1 and the cassette adapter 60 with the magnetic tape 5 pulled out to a VTR or the like for normal size tape cassettes. When you have finished using the VTR, etc., use the cassette adapter 6.
0 from the VTR etc. and press the push button 230. By pushing this push button 230, the clutch mechanism opens and closes the opening/closing gear 1 of the stoppers 174 and 175.
The meshing relationship with the gear teeth 165, ]65, . Swing plate 24
As described above, the winding gear 246 is rotated clockwise and the gear teeth 148, 148 of the drive gear 144 are rotated clockwise.
,..., and these states are the switching plate 2
The step part 224 of the lock body 216 is engaged with the inner surface of the side piece 208 of the engagement piece 207 of 01, and the switching plate 201
The push button 230 holds the push button 230 in the pushed-out state, thereby assembling it. After doing this, when the manual disk 264 is rotated clockwise, the opening 1','j
The rotation gear 162 rotates counterclockwise and pushes the pin 289 of the rotation arm 275 by the connecting plate 290, so the rotation arm 275 rotates counterclockwise and the third
The state shown in the figure will be reached. As this rotating arm 275 rotates counterclockwise, the force applied to the connecting links 303 and 305 is removed via the first connecting link 298, so that the left rotating arm 3
09 is rotated clockwise by the force of the spring 314, and when the rotating arm 275 is in the state shown in FIG. 13, it returns to the initial position shown in FIG. 3. Simultaneously with the rotation of the rotation arm 275 in the counterclockwise direction, the take-up gear 246 is rotated via the transmission gear 255 when the manual disc 264 rotates, so that the drive gear 144
The rotation of the drive gear 144 causes the impeller 138 to rotate via the transmission gear 149, which causes the tape reel 7 to rotate clockwise, and the tape cassette 1 of the magnetic tape 5 to be rotated. The portion that has been pulled out is wound onto the tape reel 7. still,
In order to reliably wind the magnetic tape 5 into the tape cassette 1, the manual disc 264 is allowed to rotate a little extra, but the extra rotation is absorbed by the transmission gear connected via the friction plate 259. The force is absorbed by sliding between the transmission gear 255 and the stopper 258 and between the transmission gear 255 and the receiver 251, which are also connected via the friction plate 260, so that unreasonable force is not applied to the magnetic tape 5. ing. When the magnetic tape 5 is wound in this manner, the disk portion 1 of the opening/closing gear 162
Since the concave portion 168 of the disk portion 166 has been rotated to a position where the bottle 200 can be received, the bottle 200, which had been pushed out by the outer peripheral surface 167 of the disk portion 166, has been The lock plate 189 on which the bottle 200 is erected is engaged in the recess 168 by being pulled by the tensile force of the long bow spring 199, thereby causing the opening/closing gear 162 to move further counterclockwise as described above. While being prevented from being rotated, the lock pawl 196 is removed from the notch 98 of the second slider 84, allowing the slider 84 to slide to the left. Therefore, by sliding the operating lever 66 to the right, the holding pieces 117 and 118 are vertically erected to release the pressure on both sides of the upper surface of the tape cassette l, and the operating piece 125 of the cassette push-up piece 124 rotates upward and pushes up the bottom surface of the case 4 of the tape cassette 1, thereby pushing the tape cassette 1 through the opening 56 of the adapter case 53.
The tape cassette l can be easily taken out from the cassette adapter 60. Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above description, the cassette adapter of the present invention is a cassette adapter for mounting a small-sized tape cassette and using it in a recording/playback device for a larger-sized tape cassette. The cassette adapter includes a loading mechanism that performs a loading operation to pull out a tape from a tape cassette attached to a holding part of the cassette adapter and an unloading operation to rewind the tape pulled out from the tape cassette into the tape cassette, and a holding mechanism that prevents the tape cassette from falling off, and a holding mechanism that enables the loading operation of the loading mechanism to start after the tape cassette is attached to the holding section, and locks the holding state of the holding mechanism in conjunction with the start of the loading operation. Further, the present invention is characterized by comprising a locking mechanism that unlocks the holding state in conjunction with the completion of the unloading operation, so that after the small tape cassette is attached to the cassette holding portion of the cassette adapter, the tape cassette is It is equipped with a holding mechanism that prevents the tape cassette from falling out of the cassette holding part, and the loading operation of the loading mechanism cannot be started until the tape cassette is attached to the holding part, and a part of the tape is pulled out from the tape cassette. If the tape is pulled out and the tape is not wound into the tape cassette, the holding state by the holding mechanism cannot be released. Therefore, the small tape cassette can be used in a VTR, etc. for normal size tape cassettes. It is extremely suitable as a cassette adapter for.
