Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a thin and compact air conditioner suitable both for housing in a pendant wall and for embedding in a wall by a method wherein a pair of heat exchanger and blower and a wind direction changing damper are used, and an air suction inlet is provided on the upward side and an air blow outlet on the downward side. CONSTITUTION:An air blow outlet 7 is positioned downward of a blower, and a wind direction changing damper 8 is provided just below the outlet 7 to be rotated around a shaft 10 by a stepping motor 9. An air suction inlet 11 is positioned upward of a heat exchanger. Blow-out grilles 12a and 12b are provided rotatably around shafts 13a and 13b on the right and left hands of the air blow outlet 7. An interior unit 14 consisting of these components is set and fixed inside of a wooden frame 16 which is inserted into a pendant wall 15, and mounted on both sides with smoothly planed grilles 17a and 17b by means of screws 18. Air suction grilles 19a and 19b are provided in the upper parts of the grilles 17a and 17b. A front panel 20a on one side is mounted so as to open forward for permitting placing and displacing of an air filter.

知用センサーでA室が室温設定値になった場合はダンパ
ーは(b)室側の方向へ風をより多く出すように動き、
画室とも室温設定値に到達した時は圧縮機(図示せず)
の運転回転数を低下させあるいは停止させるように制御
されるものであも つぎに第5図のように壁埋めとして
も使用できるようになっており、この場合は壁30に対
し 平板31を取付けた木枠16を壁に予め埋込へ こ
れに対して前方から室内ユニットを内側に設置固定し 
その前方に化粧グルルI7が取付けられるものであもな

ることが可能であり、 1台のユニットで2室を自在に
快適に空調できるなど大きな効果を有するものである。
