Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the feed quantity of the film with simple constitution according to read information by driving a magnetic head for writing in synchronism with the read of the information by a magnetic head for reading. CONSTITUTION:The camera is equipped with the magnetic head 6 for writing which writes information on magnetic storing parts 3 and 4 provided on the film 1 and the magnetic head 7 for reading which is arranged at a specific interval with the magnetic head 6 for writing and reads the written information out. Further, the camera is provided with a driving means which drives the magnetic head 6 for writing an synchronism with the read of the information by the magnetic head 7 for reading and a feeding quantity detecting means which detects ta film feeding quantity according to the information read out by the magnetic head 7 for reading. Thus, information is written at specific intervals and the feeding quantity of the film 1 is found from the number of read pieces of information to detect the feeding quantity of the film with the simple constitution.

(Background of the Invention) Conventionally, film feed amount has been detected mechanically or optically. In other words, for example, by connecting a sprocket to the perforations of the film and detecting the rotational position of the sprocket, the amount of film feed can be detected, or by irradiating light onto the film and determining the amount of feed of the perforations on the film based on the presence or absence of the reflected light. was used to detect the position of the film. Therefore, there was a problem that the configuration became complicated.

When the write start signal S tart is applied, the data input signal D ata of the D flip-flop 15 via the OR gate 14 becomes the write start signal S tart.
It becomes "1" like t. Then, D flip-flop 15.16, AND gate 17, D flip-flop 1
The write signal Drive output from the AND gate 19 via the AND gate 8 is synchronized with the system clock signal CK and becomes a signal for two shots of the system clock signal CK (the third

is turned off, a write current flows through the write magnetic head 6, a magnetic flux is generated, and "1" is written on the magnetic recording track 3.

Since the film 1 is driven by a motor (not shown), the portion where "1" is written on the magnetic storage section 3 comes into contact with the reading magnetic head 7 thereafter. Then, since the voltage passing through the capacitor 10 and the resistor 11 is configured to be higher than the reference voltage input from the reference voltage source 12, the output signal Co of the voltage comparison circuit 13
mp becomes "1". Therefore, the data input signal D ata applied to the data input terminal of the D flip-flop 15
becomes "1", and the write signal Drive output from the AND gate 19 also becomes rlJ. As a result, "1" is written on the magnetic storage section again.

Therefore, "1" is written on the magnetic recording track 3 of the film 1 at every interval (distance Xo) between the write magnetic head 6 and the read magnetic head 7, and "0" is written in all other areas. Therefore, by counting how many times this signal has been written by the microcomputer 22, the film feed amount can be detected.

Note that in order to synchronize with the system clock CK, the film 1 may be moved by an additional ΔX as shown in FIG. 3, but since the system clock CK is sufficiently fast, the ΔX relative to the distance XQ can be ignored.

According to this embodiment, the magnetic write head and the magnetic read head are arranged at a certain interval, and these heads repeatedly write and read information as the film moves, so the film position can be detected. There is no need to arrange containers, etc., and the configuration becomes simple. Furthermore, each of the heads is also used for writing and reading photographic information, so there is an advantage that the heads can be shared.
