給路が冗長なため、大きな弊害となつていた。 Conventionally, can lids are supplied to a can lid cinching machine by storing a large number of can lids in a stacker in a stacked or aligned state vertically or diagonally downward, and then taking them out one by one from the lower end of the stacker. It was on. However, when supplying a large number of stacked can lids like this, the entire load of the can lid is applied to the can lid located at the lowest level, which causes friction with the stacker and guide rail that serve as the supply route for the can lid. There was a risk that the can lids could not be cut smoothly due to the increase in the number of can lids, or that the outer periphery of the can lid would be scraped and chips would be generated, and the chips would enter the cans as they were. In particular, in the case of an automatic can lid supply device such as a disc closer, the can lid supply path is redundant, which is a major problem.

The brake mechanism consists of a U-shaped base plate 4 which is vertically movably attached to the supply path 2 by a hinge 9, a block 5 attached to the lower surface of the base plate 4, and a block 5 attached to the base plate 4 on the opposite side of the hinge 9. The weight of the weight 7 causes the block 5 to come into contact with the can lid A on the supply path 2 from above. That is, the weight 7 is slidably attached to a horizontal bar 13 extending perpendicularly from a bracket 10 attached to one side of the base plate 4, and by adjusting its position with the horizontal bar 13, it can be used as a lever with the hinge 9 as a fulcrum. According to the principle, the contact force of the block 5 to the can lid A is adjusted, the transfer speed due to the can lid's own weight is reduced, and the can lid A is transferred forward to the supply path 2 while receiving an appropriate braking force. . In this case, the block 5 that comes into contact with the can lid A is made of an elastic material such as rubber, synthetic resin, or leather so as not to damage the can lid. A contact surface is formed.

It is inserted into a vertically long slit 10a formed in the bracket 10 and moved up and down within the slit 10a by the operation of the cylinder 6. And the engaging rod 8
When the block 5 engages with the lower end of the slit 10a, the base plate 4 is pulled down and the contact force of the block 5 against the can lid A increases, thereby stopping the can lid A from being transferred by its own weight. The operation of this stopper mechanism is carried out by a detector 3 shown in FIG. It is attached to an extending mounting plate 15. This detector 3 detects whether or not there is a can lid on the supply path 2 below the detector 3, and as described later, if there is a can lid on the supply path 2, it activates the stopper mechanism. The transfer row of can lids is separated, but if there is no can lid, the operation of the stopper mechanism is stopped and the can lids are transferred by the brake mechanism.

る。 In Fig. 4A, the can lids are lined up in the supply path 2, but since the can lid is below the detector 3, the signal from the detector 3 causes the engagement rod connected to the cylinder 6 as shown in Fig. 4B. 8 is moved downward, and as a result, the contact force of the block 5 increases, and the movement of the can lid A behind the block 5 is stopped. . Therefore, the can lid B in front of the block 5 is transferred by its own weight, and the can lid A and the can lid B are separated, forming a gap between them where no can lid exists. For this reason,
The length of the row of can lids on the lid cutting device side is short, and the load of the can lids placed on the lowest row is reduced. FIG. 5A shows a state in which the gap is detected by the detector 3, and the engagement rod 8 moves upward as shown in FIG. The pressing force is released and the block 5 is brought into contact with the can lid by the brake mechanism. Therefore, the can lid A behind the block 5 is gradually moved on the supply path 2 by the brake mechanism, and after coming out of the position of the block 5, it is moved further than the block 5 as shown in FIG. 6A. The can lids catch up with the can lids B in front, and a row of can lids is formed in front of the block 5. When this row of can lids becomes long and there is a can lid below the detector 3, the engaging rod 8 moves downward as shown in Fig. 6, the stopper mechanism is activated, and the row of can lids is separated as described above. The same is done.

性も向上する、という効果がある。 According to the present invention explained above, the can lids lined up on the supply path are separated by the stopper mechanism, forming a gap in the row of can lids, so that the load of all the can lids is applied to the can lid in front. Never. Therefore, the frictional force against the bottom can lid being cut off is reduced, making it possible to prevent damage and generation of chips, thereby improving the quality of canned goods.
Moreover, this feeding device has a simple structure and can be easily attached to an existing device, so it has the effect of improving its versatility.
