Claims (1)
- 転写部に転写材を搬送する搬送可能状態の第１
の位置及びこの搬送可能状態の位置とは異なる第
２の位置に移動可能であり、前記第１の位置に位
置決めする為の位置決め部を有する転写ガイドを
有する画像形成装置において、装置全体を支持す
る第１ユニツトと、像担持体及び画像形成工程の
少なくとも一工程を実行するため前記像担持体に
作用する画像形成手段並びに前記転写ガイドの位
置め部に当接する当接部とを有し前記第１ユニツ
トに対して開閉可能な第２ユニツトとを具備し、
前記第２ユニツトが第１ユニツトに対して解放状
態にある際には前記転写ガイドが前記第２の位置
に位置し、且前記第２ユニツトが前記第１ユニツ
トに対して閉鎖される際には前記当接部が前記転
写ガイドの位決め部に当接する事により、前記転
写ガイドを前記第２の位置から前記第１の位置に
自動的に移動して位置決めする事を特徴とする画
像形成装置。
