In such a telephone exchange system, when the system is started up, the telephone exchange generally has a built-in program control device that initializes the system upon startup. However, when initializing the system using the program control device built into the exchange,
For example, it may take several minutes or more. However, the abnormality monitoring device does not require much time for initialization unlike a switchboard, and can immediately start operating as a switchboard system when the system is activated at the same time as a switchboard control device and the like. Therefore, if a call is made before the initialization of the exchange is completed, the exchange will not be able to send out a dial tone in response to the call, and the abnormality monitoring device will generate a signal that indicates an abnormality in the exchange.

There are various methods for preventing the above-mentioned damage caused by system startup. For example, the calling cycle of the abnormality monitoring device may be made longer than the initialization time of the exchange. However, this method has a problem in that abnormality detection is delayed. Another method is to turn on the power to the abnormality monitoring device after the initialization of the switch and activate the abnormality monitoring device, but this method requires a power-on control circuit and the device becomes complicated and is also economically unfavorable.

Structure of the Invention According to the present invention, abnormality monitoring is connected to an exchange as one of the telephones, and monitors the normality of the exchange by periodically calling the exchange and receiving the dial tone of the exchange that responds to the call. and a flip-flop that does not output an abnormality signal until the switching equipment is activated, completes a predetermined initial operation, and can respond to a call from the abnormality monitoring unit, and a flip-flop that is connected to a set terminal of the flip-flop. An abnormality monitoring device for an exchange is provided, comprising: an abnormality signal from the abnormality monitoring section, and a reset terminal of the flip-flop supplied with a system start-up completion signal from the exchange.

The abnormality monitoring device 4 shown in FIG. 1 shows only the parts related to the present invention, including a transformer 41 that receives the dial tone signal S1 from the exchange 1, and a dial tone detecting circuit provided on the secondary side of the transformer. 42, a determination circuit 43 is provided for determining whether the signal detected by the detection circuit is normal. The output of the determination circuit 43 is input to a set terminal S of a flip-flop 47, which will be described later. Further, a timing circuit 44 is provided which generates a periodic signal Sp of a constant period based on a clock signal CLK generated by a clock signal generation circuit (not shown).

1 interrupts the primary circuit of the transformer 41, calls the exchange, and transmits the dial tone signal S1 to the above-mentioned periodic signal.
The voltage is applied to the detection circuit in response to the timing of Sp.

The determination signal from the determination circuit 43, which is logic "1" in the case of an abnormality, is applied to the set terminal S of the flip-flop 47, and the system startup completion signal S IPL from the exchange 1 is applied to the reset terminal R, which becomes logic when the system startup is complete. "1" is inverted and applied. If it is determined that the exchange 1 is abnormal from the Q terminal of the flip-flop 47, an abnormal output signal S4 of logic "1" is output to the control device 2, and the terminal is sent via the buffer circuit 48 to indicate that the exchange 1 is abnormal. In some cases, the light emitting diode 49 is turned on.

The operation of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. Assume that the power PWR of the switching system is turned on at timing t 1 (FIG. 2a) (FIG. 2b). As a result, the exchange 1, the control device 2, and the abnormality monitoring device 4 are activated.

Since the activation of the abnormality monitoring device 4 is completed immediately, a periodic signal Sp with a constant time width τ is generated (Fig. 2c), and a calling signal is issued to the exchange 1 by a circuit not shown (Fig. 2c). Figure 2 d).
However, exchange 1 is in the process of system initialization and is not ready to respond to the above call signal.
The dial tone signal S1 is not generated within the predetermined time τ. Therefore, the determination circuit 4 of the abnormality monitoring device 4
3 applies a logic "1" signal to the set terminal S of the flip-flop 47, but an inverted system start-up completion signal S IPL of logic "0" is also applied to the reset terminal R.
The terminal remains at "0" and the terminal remains at "1", and the exchange 1 does not become abnormal.
