Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve mechanical strength by impregnating a ceramic substrate with a specific reinforcing material, filling the reinforcing material in voids of the ceramic substrate and then converting the reinforcing material into ceramics by heating. CONSTITUTION:An network organometallic polymer of a prescribed molecular weight obtained by crosslinking and bonding a straight-chain polymer such as polytitanocarbosilane mainly composed of an Si-C skeleton expressed by the formula (R is CnH2n+1) to Ti alkoxide is filled in voids 16 present in the interior of an impact-resistant ceramic board 10 of low thermal expansion. The resultant ceramic board is then heated with a heater 14 arranged in a recessed part 12 formed on the back surface side of the ceramic board 10 to convert the aforementioned polymer into an Si-Ti-C-O-based polymer and afford a composite reinforced ceramic substrate usable as a ceramic board for cooking utensils.

However, this top plate 100 made of crystallized glass has a drawback in that its mechanical strength, especially its impact strength, is weak. Therefore, the inventors of the present invention considered constructing the top plate from ceramics, and conducted various research and experiments. We have developed a ceramic plate with excellent mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance. FIG. 3 shows a specific example of the structure of the electric cooking device board. In FIG.
04 is provided, and there is also a recess 1 for heater installation from the back side.
06 is provided and the heater 108 is housed therein,
The opening is closed with a ceramic plate 110, and a bottom plate 112 made of metal, ceramic material, etc. is disposed on the back side of the ceramic plate 110.

By the way, regarding the ceramic plate of this electric cooker,
It is necessary to make the portion heated by the heater as high as possible, and for this purpose, the plate thickness of the portion where the heater is provided must be made thinner to some extent.

In addition, in the present invention, a conventionally known ceramic paint is used as a reinforcing agent, that is, a filler for voids, which is different from its original purpose. It is desirable to use a polytitanocarbosilane whose main component is the above-mentioned polytitanocarbosilane (for example, commercially available as Tyranopolymer from Ube Industries, Ltd.), which has good impregnation properties and shows little change in weight when heat treated.
