Therefore, it is required to improve the efficiency of gas sorption by minimizing the amount of heat required to heat the regeneration gas.

By desorbing the sorbed gas and regenerating the rotor through multi-step heating to increase the temperature, highly efficient desorption regeneration can be achieved using a smaller amount of heat than when desorption and regeneration is performed in one step using a single high-temperature gas. It is something to do.

It is better to dehumidify efficiently by using regenerated air at three levels of temperature of 50°G, and to divide the regenerated part of the rotor and gradually heat it to a higher temperature. The dehumidification efficiency is the same as in the case of regeneration (E in Fig. 5), and thermal energy is saved. This is because even if high-temperature regenerated air is suddenly applied to the surface of the small holes in the dehumidifying rotor that have sufficiently adsorbed water vapor in the treated air, all of the heat is desorbed because the flow of hot air inside the small holes is laminar. If the rotor wall surface is dried by the first regeneration hot air during regeneration, high-temperature regeneration air is sequentially introduced. It is thought that the walls of the small through-holes are sequentially heated to high temperatures, the heat is gradually transferred to the deep part, and the thermal energy is effectively used for desorption and regeneration.

る除湿性能が低下するためである。Next, as you can see by comparing C, A, and D, all other conditions are the same, and the purge air wind speed is lowered from 3 m/s to 2 m/s to 1 m/s compared to the processing air and regeneration air wind speeds. The dehumidification performance will gradually improve as you go. However, there is a limit in this case, and under the above conditions, if the velocity of the purge air is further lowered to 0.5 m/sec, the performance will deteriorate. Considering the reason for this, purge air is flowed in the purge zone to cool the rotor part that has become hot in the regeneration zone, and in this case, if the flow rate of the purge air is too fast, the cooling effect of the rotor itself will be reduced. However, on the other hand, the water vapor contained in the purge air is adsorbed in the cooled purge zone, resulting in a decrease in dehumidification performance. On the other hand, if the flow rate of the purge air is too slow, the rotor cooling effect is small and the rotor remains at a high temperature. This is because the dehumidification performance in the treatment zone decreases because the dehumidification occurs toward the treatment zone.

。The present invention has been explained above using adsorption type dehumidification as an example, but in general, the sorption of gas by a solid sorbent is described in (7) above, including the case of adsorption type dehumidification. It is true that sorption is difficult (desorption reactions tend to proceed), so even in the case of absorption type dehumidification or sorption of gases other than water vapor, by selecting a sorbent suitable for each sorbent gas or a combination thereof, it is possible to completely eliminate sorption. It can be implemented similarly.

のである。As described above, in performing gas sorption by the gas sorption rotor, the present invention divides the heating regeneration zone into two or more parts, and adjusts the inlet regeneration gas temperature in the two or more regeneration zones to successively increase in temperature according to the rotational direction of the rotor. Since each part of the rotor is regenerated at a constant temperature, the thermal energy of the regeneration gas is saved compared to the case where regeneration gas at a single temperature is used.
Furthermore, by changing the flow rate of purge air in the purge zone, it has the effect of further improving dehumidification performance.
