Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily check the version number of a program by extending a test print function, and printing the program version number. CONSTITUTION:The form length, i.e., a form length switch is set at 99-th line and a test print is carried out. Thus a device identification name and the version number of a program are printed at the end of the test print. Then a normal test print function is carried out when the form length switch is set at the value other than 99-th line. Thus the program version number can be easily checked by adding the device identification number and the program version number are added to the test print. Furthermore it is possible to easily check the specifications of a relevant device from the device identification name in terms of those devices having a common control panel, etc.
