    読取手段で読み取つた表示情報に基づいて前記記
    録媒体に対応する書式および印刷情報を選択的に
    印刷出力する制御手段とを備えることを特徴とす
    るシリアルプリンタ。 (2) 記録ヘツドを載置し印刷桁方向に走査可能
    なキヤリアを備えるシリアルプリンタにおいて、 前記キヤリアの記録媒体対向位置に該記録媒体
    上の表示情報を読み取る情報読取手段と、該情報
    読取手段で読み取つた表示情報に基づいて前記記
    録媒体に対応する書式または印刷情報を選択的に
    印刷出力する制御手段とを備えることを特徴とす
    るシリアルプリンタ。
