Claims

An operation part protrudes from the tip of the parking brake lever, and a push button connected to a ratchet pole that engages and disengages from the ratchet teeth of the ratchet plate via a rod is moved to the neutral position and to the ratchet position via the pawl. The pawl is movable to three positions: a pushed-in position where it can be separated from the ratchet teeth, and a pulled-out position, and is slidably provided at the tip of the parking brake lever so as to be rotatable around the central axis. When the push button is located between the neutral position and the pushed-in position, the push button is engaged with an engagement groove provided at the tip of the parking brake lever to prevent the push button from rotating;
and an engaging protrusion that engages with the tip surface of the parking brake lever by pulling out the push button to the pulled out position and rotating it by an appropriate angle, thereby preventing movement of the push button from the pulled out position toward the neutral position.
